People are just selling the free prime gaming codes
What is a prime gaming code exactly? I just bought this for $0.04 when I paid with my Mastercard (via virtual card, of course). I redeemed it through gog, but it said Amazon Prime on the title. Does that mean I need to use be a prime member to play it? Or do I need to download an Amazon launcher?

Looks like you redeem through GOG. This was available for free last week if you were a Prime Member.

Yes, I redeemed it already, but I wasn't sure if it is just a standard gog game that I own permanently. I looked it up and it seems it is.
I didn't know that prime games were offered as gog keys, otherwise I would've been getting them every month from relatives with prime memberships who don't game. Now I know for the future. I obviously don't care about the 4¢ but I would've preferred not to buy from that sketchy site.

GOG is a well known store. You don't have to worry about its legitimacy.
It was great back in the day. Now it looks very dated graphic wise.
Steam should put in a little effort and preinstall graphical mods at the very least.

With mods it looks pretty good. Replaying it now and t he game is still really fun.

I played it vanilla this year again and loved the hell out of it, but graphics don't bother me much, I could see your perspective.
Yeah, it's .06 right now and was .03 yesterday on G2Play. This is pretty common with free keys that get sold on the grey market. Just remember, you aren't getting any help from support if you have a problem with grey market keys, and don't ever accept a key where they say they have to add you as a friend through the DRM and send it to you there.

Ah yes, a consumer musing about what professionals "should do". Like it's worth a single moment of a FOR PROFIT company's time to upgrade old games that are nearly free.

This is Microsoft/Bethesda's ugly old game to fix.
Really, it was planned for graphics when it first came out.

I was referring to kinguin, the site selling the gog key
