They're quite different. Steam Deck is bigger, heavier and plays midrange PC games and up to PS2/GameCube emulation. This in intended for streaming but also plays Android games and emulates up to Dreamcast.

about 2 years too late for this price.. should be like $150 by now

edit: just read/watched some recent stuff on this device... looks like it still has horrible dead zones with the joysticks... seems like logitech hasn't addressed it in years... so they prob won't at all.

I have one of these (got an open box on EBay for $180). It's great for remote play on PS5. I've played through at least 4 whole PS5 games on it more or less. I've used Xbox cloud gaming too to a lesser extent. But super comfortable and the screen and controls are great. I think it's worth it at $200, not sure about $250 though.

Best handheld on the market, overall. Battery life and ergonomics are top notch. Performance is a B+. Highly recommend but definitely pricy at this point in its life relative to the rest if the market.

For streaming only, this is a great device. Wouldn't pay more than $200 for it though, and I doubt a case for it is worth an extra $50. A cheap ROG Ally case from China works just fine

You're better of waiting for another Secondipity eBay post which have them at $180 if you make a best offer. This is Device is great for Cloud Gaming, PS5 remote play, PC Streaming and emulation (excluding GC, PS2, Switch).

Funny thing about the Logitech G Cloud is that it's a great device when you accept it for what it is. Large high quality 7" screen, light weight, works really well connecting to your Xbox, your PS5, GeForce Now and retro gaming up to PS2 (not all PS2 titles). Is it a little pricey at $250? Yep. Buy it used on eBay for less. But it really is a great device. Love playing PSP games on this thing.

It's nothing like the steam deck, it's basically a phone with a controller you can buy on AliExpress for about $25.

You're way better off saving $50 and getting this version.

This is really an unsung hero. I have many handhelds. Steamdeck, Switch, Miyoo Mini+, Retroid Pocket, Rg556 etc. The G Cloud is hands down the one that gets the most time. Its far better for home streaming than the Steamdeck - higher resolution and nicer screen (steamdeck lcd anyway), the streaming experience is flawless, controlls are really good, device is very ergonomic, light and battery lasts forever. It can also hold its own as an emulation device - the newest Retroid Pocket 4pro runs more Gamecube and PS2 games, but just by a little bit. The next true step up in emulation is the Odin 2, which is $299 when you can find it. I ended up owning and selling the Odin 2. For me, home streaming my Xbox and PS5, or using PC Moonlight is really the sweet spot for this one and worth what I paid. That said, this really should be $200 by this point.
