I don't have any experience with the B550 but have two of the S60Bs for the kids rooms hooked up to Samsung Smart Monitors and they work flawlessly. Arc turns both monitor and soundbar on and everything works as one. Much more depth in sound compared to the monitor speakers. Not Atmos at all and surround is definitely lacking, but still voice and background sounds are clear for what it is. I couldn't tell you if the sound gets muddled when you turn the volume up higher though since there isn't a need for it in the smaller rooms. Worth it for a small 800 Square foot room with no high ceilings.
