The Bad:
The main dealbreaker is the frame/body of the scooter feels much more fragile and less capable than a typical electric scooter. The turn radius for the handlebars is ridiculously narrow and their position is very low. Both wheels are small, the front 7.5" and the back 6", and the front wheel is thinner than the rear. Basically it feels like you're riding a rickety piece of plastic. A rough ride on anything except the most smooth of surfaces.
The top speed is 12 mph and the range is about 7 miles. The range is about as low as you'll find in an adult electric scooter but the frame and wheels are the real issue. It's hard to imagine a multi-mile commute that wouldn't be rough for both the scooter and driver.
The Good:
It's the coolest looking scooter that Segway has ever released. The led strip down the center is cool, the handlebars rotate down when it folds, the profile is very small when folded. The box it comes with doubles as a storage stand (wish their other models had this). The scooter is definitely lightweight but still a bit unwieldly. Lightweight would be more of a benefit if the scooter was a better ride (ie carrying around at times during a commute). As a toy, being lightweight doesn't mean as much.
TLDR
Overpriced but stylish. Really limited, rough ride. Good for riding in an airport or in a hip office space.
