You're likely not going to die of brain injuries while falling from a scooter going 12 mph, just putting that out there. Maybe scrape a knee or elbow at worst unless you just have really bad luck. Some of those scooters though are designed to go up to 20mph which IMO is way too fast without a big metal frame to absorb the impact if you do fall, unlike an ebike.

Also Amazon sells the ES1L for $300 retail and the specs look similar. If it says 7.5 mile range its probably significantly less in practice; my ES1L gets maybe like 9-10 miles despite being advertised as 12.

For anyone interesting in purchasing a scooter ALWAYS half the mileage that they claim to get. The distance is always at a low speed with around a 160lb rider. So always go for extra miles over less. Same with speed. You don't need to do 30 mph but having the torque to make it up a hill is necessary.
