I've ordered maybe 4 or 5 times from Zavvi. Pops and graphic novels. They all came pretty quick. My last order was placed on the 27th and they shipped the 29th. Order arrived Saturday. Pretty speedy imo

Joy of collecting. I get mine signed and display them with my various other collectibles. Bonus they do hold value and quality has held up for me.
Fun fact: I worked on the film production of spiderman 2. I have the Marvel bug as well. Just don't understand the fascination with these. I've seen people have funko pops in an entire wall in their room. But in no way am I criticizing anyone's hobby
I only buy them when they are on huge sales. I see it almost like art for my game/movie room.
I get the jumbos for $9.99 and enjoy them and then worst case sell them for $20 at a flea market or just give them away. However there's a high probability that the toy will go up in value over time.
Just something about having a figurine of a movie or show when I walk into my room.
Never got into these… I don't mean to insult anyone but are funko pops still a thing or was it a fad? What's the benefit of owning these? Do you actually play with them… do you keep them in the box… do you collect them to sell later?
You know I am in the same boat. I collect and display statues and have some funko pops. But those sit in a box and I really want to pull the trigger on these but not sure what I'll do with them. Especially since I want to get like 24-28 of these, with some of them being the large ones. That's a lot of boxes.
Ordered from Zavvi for the first time. 3 items. 1 shipped almost immediately but took a week just to reach the US (NY). Other 2 took 10 days to ship and I had to ask for the new tracking info. They also took a week to reach NY to be transferred to FedEx. Another 2-3 days to arrive. 2nd shipping box looked abused but everything arrived intact.

I buy them if I see one I like, or if they go on sale like this. I have an OG Jesse from Toy Story that sells for no less than $50. I was shocked, but I'm not a seller, I'm a collector......of many things. Also I've bought from Zavvi, no problems. I've had many, many collectable items from Amazon arrived crushed, that I've had to send back. And I've had problems getting refunds from Amazon as well. You pays your money, you takes your chances.

I collect and sell, but since the government started making people pay taxes for sales on Mercari/Ebay/FB etc a lot of people have quit reselling. I figured Funko would decline, but they posted record sales last quarter and also for the entire year.
Ok NO JOKE I ordered about 17 pieces about 8 hours ago. My wife just pulled up said a box is outside. I kid you not 6 pops on the box perfectly packed!!!!! I'm in freaking awe wowoowowowoowo

theyre 3d trading cards that are the best thing on the planet to get signed by celebs. no on can match funkos catalogue of pop culture products and theyre all uniform with each other. we all used to hate funko at one point but once you realize the sheer brilliance of what they do, theres no going back. its not a fad, its been over a decade and theyre not going anywhere

There were a lot of competitors at one time. I was heavy into mighty muggs when pops first came out. But I had made my bed and Mighty muggs came out first so I was like, it's just an imitator. But I hitched my wagon to the wrong horse. Funko just got the licensing deals quicker and more diverse than MM did. 20/20 hind sight.
The thing with the Funko pops is sometimes they're the only media for that pop culture item and this fills that void (animation, anime, video game characters, now movies, music groups). It's also a nice little nostalgia kick too. I had to swear off anything that wasn't an exclusive oor i'd buy the store lol

I give it 50/50 that everything ships given past experience with them.
