Open toes vs Rocks.

Rocks win.

These would fail me in the terrain. Great to wear to the pool though.
Have you tried walking on the bottom of your foot, instead of the top?

These actually have surprisingly good traction on snow and ice. Some other reasons make them a bad fit for winter, but if they're all you have...

The Tevas are much better. Even the Chaco Z/Volv that no one seems to notice on this website will probably be better for most people than these for actual "all-terrain" use.

Link to $15 Tevas or Chacos?

Not $15, but $28 for Tevas here:

The Chacos were $27 on Black Friday, but were surprisingly ignored on Slickdeals. They're still fairly cheap at $36:

Both of these sandals normally retail for between $75-$90 and are high quality. They're highly regarded hiking sandals. I would spend the extra $13 on the Tevas for sure over these Crocs, unless you're planning on going to the beach with them. The Tevas have velcro straps that can get messy with sand. The Chacos are more expensive but come with a velcro-less strap so you wouldn't have a problem.

Here are reviews for the above models:

They should call these women's instead of unisex. Definitely not for men.

I'm gonna assume, based on the actual Crocs website, that the greenish color that is shown on the Zappos website is the Aloe. Don't know why Amazon is showing a tanish color..
According to the croc website aloe is the green color. https://www.crocs.com/p/all-terra...en&cid=3UA

That's really the best time to buy sandals, though, in the off season, when they're on sale. Same goes with jackets and winter gear,so much cheaper in the summer.

So which color is Aloe? Both link show completely different color
i just received mine. of the 3 websites, i would say the pictures on Amazon's site is a more truer color of the sandals. it has more of a yellowish tinge to it... kind of like a rotting avocado. the color on the other 2 sites are definitely more greenish which is not how they look at all
