Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

My MIL has this service. She pays $50 a month but they charge her CC automatically once a month. I've run speed tests on her modem and it has download speeds up to 600mbps on a good day. She loves her service and it's plugged in to her Roku TV. How does she get the $25 offer????? She's 75 years old and obviously on a fixed budget.

I want to try this but I am a little concerned. We have Frontier fios now 500/500 at about $70 a month, no issues.

Have 5-6 nest cameras running 24/7

Stream 2 TVs at a time

Use YouTube tv and other streaming services

Use PS4/5 and Switch for online gaming such as Fortnite and Call of Duty

Spouse and I both work from home. I can have teams/webex calls that last 8 straight hours

Is T-Mobile internet even something that would work for us?
Whoa, 500/500 from frontier is much better, I would stay. To the least it is not Comcrap!

Available for Sprint customers?
Until your Sprint account is migrated to T-M, I doubt it. Last year I signed up for HSI for a family member because her existing Sprint account prevented enrollment. This solution was suggested by T-Mobile. Having said that, no problems so far with the service.

I can't even check the available for my home as the Tmobile won't recognize my address and keep asking to pick an address from a list??
I had to use Firefox. Must be a bug in their code.

I just set up this service a few weeks ago. I live in orange county California. It occasionally drops out briefly from time to time but speeds are acceptable. I don't online game anymore so it doesn't bother me. I'm paying 30 a month for it right now and I was paying over 80 with spectrum. I got fed up trying to haggle the price down every year.
Can you do me a favor? Can you check if you can Steam voice successfully with someone? I had T-Mobile home internet about a year ago and it wouldn't work with steam voice chat. I'm also in OC.

I'm really hoping existing customers can get in on this...
Existing T-Mobile Home Internet customers, including those on the Magenta Max bundle, are not eligible for this deal. Those looking to take advantage of the offer also would need to have not had T-Mobile Home Internet for at least 30 days.

Living in SoCal with decent population density, I almost get this incredible speed every day! called a couple times but literally no real technical troubleshooting.

Their service is horrible. I had their 5G internet for a while. Suddenly one of their towers broke down. It took them nearly a month, A MONTH IN 2022 to fix it. Had so many issues! Never again.
Same happened with me. It took about a month. Good thing was that I was on vacation so didn't have to use it for work.

I had this for about a year and it worked fine for a few months then one day the connection started dropping on a regular basis. I replaced the gateway at least twice, but the connection drops never improved. Support reps always said it was "tower maintenance" that would be completed in 48 hours, but I never received a stable connection again so I cancelled. After cancelling I saw this article [tomshardware.com] claiming that "tower maintenance" is just a canned excuse that support gives you when they don't know what going on and they just want to get you off the phone. The truth is that home internet has the lowest priority on the tower and when there is congestion you will be dropped. The gateway is so poorly built that it does not recover from a dropped connection without restarting. If the connection drops even for a few seconds, you have to restart the gateway. This becomes a problem if you have things like WiFi cameras, thermostats, or other IoT devices that you rely on to be online when you're not home or are asleep. We went away one three-day weekend and the internet dropped on Friday night and was not restored until we came back home on Monday and restarted the gateway. For the record, I live about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia and this was just my experience. Your experience may differ, especially if you live in a large city with lots of towers to handle the load. That said, for $25 I am still considering getting this as a backup for by cable internet that also goes out on rare occasions.

Will this work for sprint customers?
I was told by T-Mobile CSR that you have to get your Sprint phone put on a T-Mobile account in the store to get this deal.
