Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

How do you pass a credit check for an address that's not your own?
Your billing address and the address where the device will be used (which you can make up) do not have to be the same address.

They use your billing address to confirm credit.

I just realized, what's big deal about this? We've been using $10/mo unlimited data plan on 5G router. Why pay $25 now?
What plan is that and which router ?

So I have t mobile phone and I just did a speed test. Is this the same speed I'm going to get with the t mobile router or is it going to be better?
Should be about the same. It is using the same 5g towers as your phone uses.

Only reason it would be different is if the modem in the router was better/worse than your phones modem.

Many deals only work with certain plans, so many users are not eligible. Some require new lines added. This deal is a rare one that allows old plan users and no new line or term length required.

Adding an antenna will make the connection more consistent, but it will be an inferior option in comparison with DSL, Cable, or even Fiber. For most browsing it should be fine, but I would not expect to be streaming all the time. If there is a lot of traffic, that can affect things as well.

$25 these days for internet ain't bad. It is important to remember that many times you pay for what you get.

I just got it, you can not take it anywhere and use it, must stay at 1 location. Also, I still haven't dropped my xfinity due to inconsistencies. Speed tests range from 25-300 mbps download and upload currently is 1.65 mbps. Upload range is really inconsistent, Highest was around 15 mbps.

I don't think there's a data cap on this. Then again this is also deprioritized so probably the same thing?

I heard that people do travel with it. Does it say not to move it around?

I get over 500 down in my apt … near a UC tower tho
That's a plus, I only stay with visible because there's a tower less than 2 miles away.

Unfortunately where I live the only internet option is Spectrum or dialup lol

I did the TMobile test drive and it was a poor signal. Is the home internet device more powerful ? I mean would it be able to do better than the little puck ?
