Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I wonder if you can cancel your existing home internet account, then use the spouse's name to get this offer
I have 2 paid Magenta 1.0 Lines and 5 free lines (all on the insider 20% discount) and I am an existing $50 Home Internet customer. When I saw the $25 Home Internet promo, of course I wanted in.

After conversations with multiple T-Mobile reps and being on hold several times while reps checked with managers, I was told that in order to get the $25 Home Internet, I would need to add a second home internet device for $25 and keep both the $50 and $25 home internet for 90 days.....I would then be able to drop the $50 Home Internet.

Given that I was told that this new $25 Home Internet service qualifies for the $100 gift card promo, I am OK with paying for both devices for 90 days.

Hope it works out as planned.

I tried it and although I can see mobile tower outside of my window, it was unusable. During busy times, speed would drop to under a MB. Maybe they've improved things in the last few months but I tried it for like 4 months at the beginning of the year. Fantastic price though!

You should probably be using a VPN regardless. I have my T-mobile phone setup to connect my VPN when I disconnect from my home network, so I'm not throttled while streaming video. Torrenting over a VPN on TMHI should be fine. An even better solution is real-debrid. I haven't used torrenting software in over a year since subscribing to real-debrid. It's dirt cheap, bypasses the need to pay for a VPN, and much faster.
What's real-debrid

Took care of getting mine thru the online chat in my acct. Confirmed $25/month for live, activation fee waived. Free shipping, and it will qualify for the $100 rebate. Rep confirmed limit of 1 HSI line per account. Looking forward to getting mine in a week or so.
When do you submit for the rebate? After you get the hardware and activate the internet service?

I just signed up for this via chat as a non T-Mobile customer

Prep: If you have any credit report freeze, get them all temporarily lifted (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) so they can complete the sign up process.

The T-Mobile chat agent that assisted me was not aware of this promo. I had to provide them the CNet URL on the first page. I asked the agent what's the cheapest voice plan that qualifies for this promo. I will not be porting my existing mobile number.

All in all, I got "Unlimited Talk & Text Only" for $20/month and the "T-Mobile Home Internet" currently shows $55 on the bill summary ($0.00 due today) that the agent provided, but she assured me it will be $25/month on the final bill.

They're sending me the "ARC KVD21 GATEWAY BLK CPO [t-mobile.com]".
Doesn't that basically mean that you got their home internet plan for $45/mo? If you have a use for that talk & text only plan, it may be good, but otherwise, I don't know how good of a deal that is.

The T-Mobile chat agent is telling me that there is no promo code required and that it will show up within 2 billing cycles.
That doesn't sound right based on what other people are saying in this thread.
The promo number posted is just how they ID the promotion being applied, is not a promo code that has to be applied. So the chat agent was telling you correct info. When the bill credits start showing up on you statement they will have the promo number posted before identifying that the credits are from that deal.

Based on my experience with previous promotion after a year or so T-mobile stops the bill credits and just charges you $30 for the internet service.

Missing the image? I may try it out if there is $100 gift card.

Did we confirm that this is mobile? Could take it to a cabin or put in RV while glamping?

I've had this for a few months and it has been fine. I got the last deal at $30/mo

I have gotten up to 600/65, but the avg is 300/65. I have a strong 5G signal here.

There is an option on slickdeals to view the thread in the old forum mode, usually upper right side of the page. Switch and you will see his image.

When I try to just purchase online, it quotes me $50, no $25 promo to be found.

I've tried live chat several times. The first person literally "hung up" on our chat when I said I wanted this promo. The second person told me

"that $25 promotion is false and not from T-Mobile unfortunately." and when I challenged this they said, "So that is a incorrect promotion, we only offer home internet for $50 monthly or $20 off if you have 2 or more lines on the Magenta Max plan as well. We also have a offer for $10 off monthy for new customers."

I am a tmobile voice customer of about 5 years, post paid, one phone line. I specifically mentioned promo 2022 HINT P22.

How are other people getting this to work? Any magic phrasing tips??
