Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

I have insider discount and was able to get the $25 rate.
Are you on Max or Tmobile ONE? Did you got confirmation email that shows $25 or you can see under Account overview > promos?

Well, I did sign up for the 2nd Tmobile Internet Service successfully, since I have family plan with multiple lines already.

The Rep said I can chose add one new voice line or add one new internet line to qualify I choose add one new internet line.

I already got my Gateway order number.

The rep said I might new void the line's $25 monthly promotional credit if I cancel my existing $50 internet line within 90 days.
How did you do that? I'm already a T-Mobile Highspeed customer with a family plan as well did you just mention you want to add a second T-Mobile Internet service?

I have Sprint too, I wanted to go to the store but they closed early. Hope to hear how it goes. Does anyone know how long this will go for? Maybe I can try tomorrow.
They said I'd have to migrate and the store seemed to think I would not be able to keep my Kickstart plan. I'm not gonna do it unless there's another way. I'm waiting for the auto-migration of Sprint plans

Just called T-Mobile. I am an existing customer with home internet in my dads name. You can't add the promotion or cancel to add. Would be a 90 day wait to qualify for promotions and won't last that long.

But I asked if I can sign up for the new service and put it in my name as a new customer and qualify and they said I can!

So trick is sign up as a new customer and to put it in your spouses or kids name. You then cancel yours. As you don't need two internet accounts. And keep the one that's $25 a month. You will likely also qualify for that visa gift card for joining T-Mobile internet
Don't you need a voice line on the same account? Did you add a new voice line also?

Current T-Mobile mobile and internet customer..had to cancel internet service, call right back order for new price... Will have to wait a day or so for new modem and send old one back. (They wouldn't let me just keep the old one.)
Did You get the Promo? How

It has always been like that with cable/internet provider. After 1-2 yr, you geta HUGE bill surprise.

Except it's not always like that LOL. I had FiOS internet only for years and years in PA at two different addresses, ~$80/month for 1Gbps.

I already have TMobile phones and home internet.
I just called up today and added another home internet subscription to my account for the $25, no other setup fees including the 2 day shipping, and a $100 prepaid visa card after 45 days...
I figure once setup, I'll cancel the $50 service...
We'll see if this works

Just cashed in on this deal. I have voice and Home Internet already. Hopped on their mobile app chat, confirmed with the customer service rep that we qualified, will be on the next billing cycle. Took less than 5 minutes. 100-150Mbps down / 30Mbps up, no data caps, $25 a month. I'll take that.
So you got two home internet now?

Had their internet service for about a year; it was great at first then the last month or so would see speeds drop to a crawl from about 5-10pm. Cancelled service; not worth the headache even at $25

I have 2 paid Magenta 1.0 Lines and 5 free lines (all on the insider 20% discount) and I am an existing $50 Home Internet customer. When I saw the $25 Home Internet promo, of course I wanted in.

After conversations with multiple T-Mobile reps and being on hold several times while reps checked with managers, I was told that in order to get the $25 Home Internet, I would need to add a second home internet device for $25 and keep both the $50 and $25 home internet for 90 days.....I would then be able to drop the $50 Home Internet.

Given that I was told that this new $25 Home Internet service qualifies for the $100 gift card promo, I am OK with paying for both devices for 90 days.

Hope it works out as planned.
Thanks for this write-up. I am in the same boat. Existing Home Internet customer looking for a way to get in on this deal.
I was thinking of doing the same, but not sure I want to take on the chance of it not working out and being out $75.
I guess that might be worth the risk. I recently set up the service and applied for the $100 promo, so I expect I cant get a second $100, huh?
