The Rep said I can chose add one new voice line or add one new internet line to qualify I choose add one new internet line.
I already got my Gateway order number.
The rep said I might new void the line's $25 monthly promotional credit if I cancel my existing $50 internet line within 90 days.
But I asked if I can sign up for the new service and put it in my name as a new customer and qualify and they said I can!
So trick is sign up as a new customer and to put it in your spouses or kids name. You then cancel yours. As you don't need two internet accounts. And keep the one that's $25 a month. You will likely also qualify for that visa gift card for joining T-Mobile internet
Except it's not always like that LOL. I had FiOS internet only for years and years in PA at two different addresses, ~$80/month for 1Gbps.

I just called up today and added another home internet subscription to my account for the $25, no other setup fees including the 2 day shipping, and a $100 prepaid visa card after 45 days...
I figure once setup, I'll cancel the $50 service...
We'll see if this works

After conversations with multiple T-Mobile reps and being on hold several times while reps checked with managers, I was told that in order to get the $25 Home Internet, I would need to add a second home internet device for $25 and keep both the $50 and $25 home internet for 90 days.....I would then be able to drop the $50 Home Internet.
Given that I was told that this new $25 Home Internet service qualifies for the $100 gift card promo, I am OK with paying for both devices for 90 days.
Hope it works out as planned.
I was thinking of doing the same, but not sure I want to take on the chance of it not working out and being out $75.
I guess that might be worth the risk. I recently set up the service and applied for the $100 promo, so I expect I cant get a second $100, huh?
