Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?
I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.
If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

TE with t-mobile usually means "Taxes Extra". As opposed to "Ti" which is "Taxes Included".
Thanks for the info.

I tested it out a few months back was kinda spotty and speeds not good enough to drop cable. Only having one line they wouldn't give me the 25$ price. Now that I do qualify (1 line only) its suddenly not available in my area. seems fishy

I signed up for tmobile home internet 2 weeks ago, tried to get price adjusted by phone and chat many times was a no go , last night chatting with CSR i signed up with promo applied $25 monthly , 100 dollar visa virtual card promo and no activation fee, she asked me which service i have and why wanted switch , i said xfinity and price, all process was smooth , when the 2nd modem arrives i will activate it and cancel the 1st one. , fingers crossed. lol

My account is not showing the $5 Autopay discount so far, although I turn it on when submitting the payment form during chat. Would it appear later?

I oddly got no text or email other than an email saying I ordered the router. Nothing on my account yet. We'll see.

I did the same thing when the customer service rep sent me that link but that didn't really turned on the auto-pay on the account. I had to login and turn it On directly from my account online.

The "Limit 1/account." Is taken directly from the terms and conditions for the offer.
I believe it's 2nd home internet if you have two lines or more...

The second home internet can be for you, a family member, or someone else with a line on your account but living/located at a different address/location...

If someone with a line on your account lives at the same address/location pays rent, lives in the inlaw apt, basement, or the apt on another floor I suppose you could list at that address as apt B or #2 just as one would in a condo complex and receive a second home internet at technically the same address but different

The discount is good for one new home internet line per account. You can have any number of other non-discounted home internet lines in addition to the promotion line.

Also, in my rush, I ordered on my number at my shipping address. As this is a 5g device I was going to use it at my mom's house by moving it there. Would that be a problem? Someone said they might geofence. I've used these from Verizon business and they don't care about usage location. GPS is to identify the device's location but carrier doesn't care where you use it. They treat it like a hotspot device (which it technically is).
You can change the service address after activating your account by calling T-Mobile. Just make sure your mom's house is eligible for service by checking the site.
