Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Isnt the max autopay discount $40 (i.e. 8 lines)?

If your family plan has 8 lines or more and have the auto pay discount, would adding the tmobile internet also be eligible for an additional $5 off, even though you maxed the autopay discount?

Amazon sells outside, water sealed lockboxes. With a transparent cover. Was thinking about getting one of these as it's cheaper than buying a external antenna. And you don't void any warranty by opening it. The only factors you have to worry about is putting it in a place that it will not get vandalized and you might want to put a fan in there as well. I also am going to run a cable to my Orbi mesh Ap.

They don't actually charge that fee on Home Internet. I was never charged one when going through the online workflow.

Confusing myself here…The 64 device limit….that doesn't apply if you use your own router for wifi correct? If I use my nest wifi, the T-Mobile device limit wouldn't apply right?

Correct. Turn off the built-in WiFi if possible. That could also interfere with the 5G signal even if they are using different frequency.
