Are you billed under Sprint or T-mobile? I was told that my lines are billed under Sprint so I cannot qualify, but I did not know anything about Sprint Legacy and if that can help?

My biggest concern was rumor had it that you could not use it with a VPN. Well, I'm happy to report that my corporate VPN is unaffected, as I am using it right now with no issues. Since all you need for it to work is a wall outlet and a T-Mobile tower, it is also (supposedly) very portable, which solves some of my other issues. Logged into my account and the discount is already reflected. Just thought I'd share my in-store experience.
To run a VPN home server however requires that your home internet allows for incoming connections. In other words, think of it as your phone, you can make calls but people can also call you. In order for the VPN home server to work you need to be able to recieve calls. Most regular ISPs like Comcast allow that type of connections. T-mobile Home Internet due to how is structured doesn't allows for incoming connections (receiving calls), it only allows for connections going out of your network (you making a phone call). Thus, running a VPN server or any kind of server doesn't work on T-Mobile's Home Internet without some additional tinkering.
The kind of VPN you are referring to is you from your home making a call to your work's VPN server which should work fine.
As a rule of thumb anything requiring you to do port forwarding will not work with T-mobile Home Internet as they don't have the infrastructure to support that.

Thanks again!
There was a Magenta Max promo that some people were able to get the internet service down to $20 but last thing I read on this thread that it was no longer working.
Order new service for 25 a month, got waived $35 setup fee
Will cancel existing Internet 90 days later.
Thank you op
Spend$75 extra then save $25 until cancellation
In addition of the service being locked at $55 for life you will also have $25 bill credits apply to you account as long as you don't break the terms of the bill credits for this promo. In other words you will have the bill credits for life. On top of that the Auto-pay discount of $5 will be applied for life too as long as you keep it enabled on your account. If you turn it off the discount will go away until you turn it back on.

Check the wiki on the first page of the thread, there is a screenshot with how the promo shows up on your account. There are few people that have posted that they have seen that on their accounts.
