Make sure you are signing up for Home Internet Unlimited and NOT Home Internet Lite. Home Internet Lite does not get the promo.
From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

For existing customers, chatGPT provided an alternative solution:

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

Either way, I setup my Asus mesh network. On the TMO gateway i switched the wifi to be 5gh band only and hid the wifi network. On my Asus mesh I took advantage of the wan aggregation to use both lan ports from the 5G gateway into my router.
Overall, my wifi 6 speed at home hover around 250 down and 40 up while my fiber connection was around 600 down and 700 up.
Is it worth it for me? So far, if things stay this way, I will say a huge Yes. Because this is $55 bucks cheaper per month over my att fiber connection.

Which antenna did you get exactly?
1. MIMO 4x4 or 2x2?
2. "Panel" (i.e. directional) or "Log Periodic"?

Speeds I get are highly variable depending on where I put it. I'm not sure where the closest tower is, but sometimes I get around 70mb/s down and 12 mb/s up as a low. But I have seen it as high as 400+ mb/s down and 40 mb/s.
Despite the variability, it's still far better than what I ever got in my car. Totally useable. My only snag so far is the lack of port forwarding and Sling detecting my connection as if it were being viewed on a discontinued device.
Oh well..
Since this deal is still going on, hopefully within few months after most of the new users signup start really using their Tmobile home internet, you will get a better picture what kind of speed, ping, and disconnection, etc you get after those few months.
And for someone that their cellphone and home internet are critical so can't loss both at the same time. If someone switch both their cellphone plan and their home internet to use the same Tmobile cellphone tower, if Tmobile infrastructure in their area is down or just the cellphone tower near them has problem, both your cellphone and home internet would be down at the same time and you won't be able to access internet or any VoIP/zoom/google voice, etc. And can't even contact Tmobile support to know what's going on.
But if you use someone else as internet provider, hopefully either Tmobile or your other internet service provider still work so you can contact the outside world.
It is highly recommended if you can't loss both your cellphone and home internet at the same time, make sure you have some kind of backup like a backup cellphone plan that use AT&T or Verizon network, etc so you can still contact the outside world or contact T-mobile service for support. Or if you work from home and in the middle of a meeting, you can quickly rejoin using your backup network device.

A couple more questions, hopefully the last.
2x2 antenna can be connected to 5G or LTE U.Fl connectors on the TMO router, depending on 5G cell service is available or not your location
Which one did you use?
If you use TMO router WiFi, do you see any difference in signal on clients between 2.4 and 5 WiFi?
Thank you!

So I went to T-Mobile store yesterday and got the latest 3rd gen gateway ("S1" model) to replace my almost year old "trashcan" model ("N1"). I didn't cancel my previous line and turned off the old one and turned on the new one.
I immediately saw an increase in speed to 4 bars out of 5 and now have 550-600Mbps. Also without asking, got the $25/mo promo. Called today to cancel the older internet line.
VERY HAPPY.
