Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

Signal to Noise ratio? Are you referring to the signal meter displayed on the modem? I get EXCELLENT most of the time and sometimes VERY GOOD.

I actually hooked up a third-party router as someone suggested since the WiFi could be the issue. But nope. Same deal. Very inconsistent connection.
Use the T Mo modem app to access SNR numbers. Under MORE\ADVANCED CELLULAR METRICS\5G

RSRQ
RSRP
SINR
BAND

If you see 4-5 bars, and still get random speed drop when connected directly to a PC using the yellow LAN port, then you may have a defective T MO unit. Also reset the T MO unit and retest. Always speed test without the use of a router to obtain the true speed.

I'm getting around 250 Mbps down but continuing to have network issues when I'm in Microsoft teams calls. Luckily for the $100 GC, I will keep the service for now (4-month trial run) and see if the network improves.
Could be firewall conflict if you only see problem with MS team. Retest with PC connect directly to T MO's yellow LAN port.

Currently on Mint Mobile (and unfortunately just re-upped for another year a few months ago) and have T-Mobile Home internet. Would be willing to switch my line to T-Mobile to lock in that discount. Guessing they aren't offering it for an existing internet/new phone plan?

Same issue here. I used to get 250 Mbps down and 20 up, since last week I am getting 12 to 20 Mbps down and 8Mbps up

My Tmobile phone gets 240Mbps...
If the issue has to do with new users added because of this promo, the speed/ping change probably continue until this promo end and after all the router shipped and use by those new users. So there may be more speed/ping change in the next few weeks(month(s)?) until probably 1-2 weeks after the promo end.

I got:

CQI: 13
RSSI: -73
RSRQ: -9
RSRP: -82
SNR: 24

All numbers seem to be within the ideal range.

Hardwired, I get roughly the same results so I don't think it's a WiFi issue. I'll try a reset later.

Yes, my PC is connected directly to the Tmobile modem/router (yellow port). Everything seems to be good other than the loss/poor network on MSTeams which is important because I work remotely and all my meetings are thru Teams.

So I got mine yesterday. A brand new Arcyan version. It was so easy to setup. I am getting 40-95 mbps, no matter what Window, direction, or even it i try it outside. We're a family of 5 and I work from home and host webinars, etc. My comcast is 250 mbps, I am just wondering if this will work for me as a total replacement. I guess I'll keep testing it. Not much to lose if I keep it at least 4 months with a $100 gift card coming from Tmobile. What speed are others getting? I am not sure if it is the distance from the tower or just the capacity in our area is tuned for this. I guess I'll find the actual tower and drive over near to it and do a speedtest. If that gets a big increase I may look at the third party antenna mod.
At 2am I was getting 320 down 40 up. At 8am it was 150 down 40 up. Now at 12:30 it's 82 down 27 up. Really depends on congestion

Had my modem today. 1st, setup is hassle free and easy. 2nd, discount automatically applied to my T-Mobile around. 3rd, speed is fast and goes to 200 and 300 mpbs. However, sometime I have to wait for responding even the speed test shows high. 4th, you can always call to negotiate with you internet provider for a better price

Looks like it worked!
New router arrived so I hooked it up and called Tmobile to cancel my current internet.
I tried to keep the convo quick, so I gave them the SimNumber for the $50 service to make sure they killed the right one.
To avoid the "how can we keep you?" conversation, I just told them my work is now providing internet for WFH employees

Checked mytmobile portal this morning, account shows just the $25 internet and my 2 phone lines.

Stoked!
Now just waiting on the $100 prepaid gift card after 45 days
so you had TMobile internet and you cancelled it AFTER you got the promo? I have TMobile business for a while now and so want to save the $!

Don't get too excited. More likely than not his/her service credits will be canceled very soon since this violates the terms of this deal.

This could be a potential deal breaker for me ..

What plan are you on? Even after talking to a rep, i still do not see $25 discount in my account. I am on Simple Choice

Any idea how long the promo is going to last? I'm currently moving into a new home at the end of this month trying to see if its worth waiting or just order now.

Supposedly end of the month, but they can pull it whenever they feel like it.

Just order it now, who knows when promo will end.
Only gonna cost you a few more bucks, you can set it all up in your present home and it will be ready to go in your new one.
