Make sure you are signing up for Home Internet Unlimited and NOT Home Internet Lite. Home Internet Lite does not get the promo.
From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

Anywhere I can read more about it?
The good thing, it's doable, at least!

Backyard outdoor is 200+Mb download, Garage 100+Mb download, inside house or near window or even next to the wall outdoor is 10Mb. My house is stucco with wire netting like a faraday cage, so best option for me is garage with existing Arcadian gateway router. It's a backup for my occasional blackout from the cable that gives me about 400+Mb download.
Other options are to put unit in attic (no wire netting) or paid $200 to $400 for waveform Mimo antenna and risk breaking the gateway connectors.
I only get 3 bars good even inside the house or outdoor.
It seems the speed for downloading is not indicative by the number of bars. The signal bars seem to indicate how close you are to the tower but the downloading speed is affected by how many interference from your buildings/walls. Just tested again, even putting a box next to the gateway will affect the signal, orientation of the gateway too.
So the gateway is not really omnidirectional, you probably need to turn it facing a certain direction.
Attic placement near windows facing the transmitting tower should provide performance close to outdoor scenario. Disable the build in WiFi and run LAN cable to another quality router.
My Tmobile phone gets 240Mbps...
New router arrived so I hooked it up and called Tmobile to cancel my current internet.
I tried to keep the convo quick, so I gave them the SimNumber for the $50 service to make sure they killed the right one.
To avoid the "how can we keep you?" conversation, I just told them my work is now providing internet for WFH employees
Checked mytmobile portal this morning, account shows just the $25 internet and my 2 phone lines.
Stoked!
Now just waiting on the $100 prepaid gift card after 45 days

As a point of comparison with my T-Mobile hotspot using 4G, my hotspot pulls a consistent 10/10 or so. Not the fastest but very reliable. If I had to make a guess, it's' because 5G is simply not reliable due to the nature of it's reach versus 4G. I'll see if I can disable 5G on the modem. I don't necessarily need blazing fast speed in the hundreds.
I'll probably still hang onto it for at least a few months since T-Mobile is giving a $100 gift card making those months almost free.
EDIT: Can't find a setting to disable 5G on the modem through the T-Mobile internet app. If anyone knows if we can disable 5G and just use 4G towers, please let me know.
What is your signal to noise at the unit? The 5G signal should remain stable unless the SNR is bad/drifting. Move the unit North/South/East/West near a windows and retest using the LAN cable. Rotating the TMO unit can also help with data transfer due to the directional nature of the internal. Do not use WiFi for speed test since it is unreliable.

I actually hooked up a third-party router as someone suggested since the WiFi could be the issue. But nope. Same deal. Very inconsistent connection.
I got my Gateway yesterday delivered, set it up, and activated the voice line sim that I had ordered along with Gateway. My voice line was default set to Magenta plan $70.
Today I had a chat with an agent and mentioned that I really don't need additional line. Could they put me on $5 plan for tablet that I have and can use. Without a glitch they said yes and put me on $5 plan that is useful my tablet and now my total comes to $25 for Home Internet and $5 for tablet, $30 (Yes, Taxes and Fees included!!) in total for life for unlimited data.
btw, I haven't located the best spot for gateway but with just 3 bars I get at least 280 Mbps down and 40+ Mbps Up.

My line of thinking. Without the gift card, I'd probably ditch it within the next week if things don't improve.
