From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

For existing customers, chatGPT provided an alternative solution:

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

Edit: Same thing applies for the perks at work discount if you have that
Not a T-mobile expert nor saying they are wrong but I think they are miss reading their internal terms and what it really means is thar the Insider discount won't stack with this promo, ie it will be $25 not $25 - Insider discount. But in the end, only the programmer that did the promo code knows for sure and we can only expeculate and wait.

Heavy Data Users (as defined by a customer's rate plan) will have their data usage prioritized below the data usage (including tethering) of other customers at times and at locations where there are competing customer demands for network resources, which may result in slower data speeds.
So this is "location lottery". If the cellphone tower near you is always crowded, sounds like once you become "Heavy Data Users", not only your Tmobile Home internet will have lower priority than postpaid cellphone customer, you will also have lower data priority than other non-Heavy Data Home Internet user. So your speed will drop further.
And if you are lucky and you win this "location lottery" (your cellphone tower is not crowded), since your cellphone tower has enough bandwidth for everyone, then everyone can still have higher speed.
The public terms of the promo have an open ended statement saying that this promo MAY NOT be compatible or combined with some promos but they don't specify which, that internal terms have those extra details.
Those internal terms were posted here or on reddit.

I then asked if I could pay more to remove the cap, and he said there's no way to increase it. For comparison's sake, Xfinity high speed internet usage caps at 1.2TB before they charge you more (an extra $10 for additional 50GB additional, never exceeding $100 additional), but they don't *throttle* speed. An important distinction for those who work remotely or otherwise need reliable high-speed internet.
For reference I activated my T-Mobile 5G gateway 3 days ago and I'm already somehow over 30GB (could be PS5 CoD update downloads or something), and at this rate will prob exceed 100GB by end of week. Then if service degrades significantly to an unusable speed I plan to return the device to my local T-Mobile within the 15 day trial window. I'll update/reply here when I exceed it.
Source: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/int...rvice/data
"Customers who use more than 1.2 TB of data in a month for the first time will not be billed for exceeding the limit. After that, blocks of 50 GB will automatically be added to your account for an additional fee of $10 each plus tax. Charges will not exceed $100 each month, no matter how much data you use."
I wasn't able to find T-Mobile's Home Internet disclaimer about throttling anywhere other than with their generic internet disclaimers on the deal page:
"Network Management: Service may be slowed, suspended, terminated, or restricted for misuse, abnormal use, interference with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users. See T-Mobile.com/OpenInternet for details. See Terms and Conditions (including arbitration provision) at www.T-Mobile.com for additional information."
And once you click on the T-Mobile.com/OpenInternet link you get
"T-Mobile Home Internet (available in select locations) customers receive the same network prioritization as Heavy Data Users, but should be less likely to experience congestion because the equipment is stationary and available in limited areas."

Speed test on my S22 Ultra with Spectrum 300Mbps cable: (over wifi6): 97.7Mbps down / 11.9 up
Tmobile 5G direct on S22U: 366Mbps down / 7.52 up
Tmobile 5G home internet gateway over wifi6 to S22U: 314Mbps down / 48up
I don't pay for my current cable connection now, but I will bring this to my mom's house to replace her fiber connection.
Also, I have a usbc cable that shows current draw and this unit draws 6-9 Watts idle. 13-16 Watts at ~350Mbps download and a bit less on uploads.
My last test gave me 372/57.6

What's crazy is that even in the middle of my basement (no window, just solid concrete walls all around), I'm still getting ~260 down and ~60 up. Testing it on double-NAT right now, with the gateway and secondary router in the basement, still about the same speed with no real hit in latency. Super impressed with the service. Just submitted for my $100 virtual card.
