Make sure you are signing up for Home Internet Unlimited and NOT Home Internet Lite. Home Internet Lite does not get the promo.
From CNET article: "Those interested in T-Mobile Home Internet can enter their address at the carrier's website to see if it is available in your area. If you have multiple lines on your account, such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together, the carrier confirms to CNET that you could activate multiple T-Mobile Home Internet lines at the discounted $25 promo rate, so long as the addresses are eligible for the Home Internet service."

After earlier telling CNET that multiple lines on an account could sign up for the offer -- such as a family plan where not everyone still lives together -- the carrier said on Wednesday that the deal will be limited to one Home Internet line per account.

Tried to order online, it still says $50 after $5 autopay. Why it is not showing $25?
#############################################################################################################################
Per T-mobile Customer service it will not show the $25 dollar nor the promo if you order online but as long as you order during the promotion period it will automatically get added to your account. User dishguy confirmed that indeed it worked, I included his post below for reference . Alternatively you can call, chat, go to a store, or reach out to T-Force on Twitter or Facebook to get them to place the order for you.
Good luck.

For existing customers, chatGPT provided an alternative solution:

Not sure why this was removed but - FYI -
For those that care;
The modem/router that comes with home internet service has
a built-in GPS receiver and antenna, and sends your GPS location back to T-Mo at regular intervals and presumably they can request it anytime.

You can always port out existing cell numbers to other carriers and then transfer back to the new account.
If you have a lot of free lines like me then it is only option 1 to add second internet line for 90days to try with $100 promo.
There is current offer of three lines for price of two.
But maybe not on all cell towers yet. If you have access to see your local tower, you might be able to see if there is a generator at the base of the tower.
Also keep in mind even if T-Mobile has backup power, when there's mass power outage in your area and all major internet services go out, everyone and their grandma's smartphones switch from dead wifi to cellular. Your local T-Mobile (or any cellular carriers) would be so congested that it may appear as if there was no internet. You'll be lucky to get 1 text message sent out on your phone within 10 minutes. In fact, where I live with seasonal hurricanes, our emergency responders encourage everyone to send text instead of using voice or data on our phones during major power outages.
I don't believe most cellular carriers provision enough local bandwidth to accommodate all data traffic for everyone as if there were no other internet service providers in your area, unless your area truly has no other providers. So for folks getting this cheap plan as a backup to their current internet service provider in case of major outages, good luck!
The WiFi radio on the T-Mobile router is crap, but I run ethernet between it and my Deco M9 mesh system, and can get pretty good speeds throughout the house.
I want to try this but I am a little concerned. We have Frontier fios now 500/500 at about $70 a month, no issues.
Have 5-6 nest cameras running 24/7
Stream 2 TVs at a time
Use YouTube tv and other streaming services
Use PS4/5 and Switch for online gaming such as Fortnite and Call of Duty
Spouse and I both work from home. I can have teams/webex calls that last 8 straight hours
Is T-Mobile internet even something that would work for us?

My in laws have had T-Mobile home internet for a few months at $50 if more than three people start streaming it buffers. They get 300mb down normally. I don't think it will work for all the things you listed. But I don't know, it's very location dependent.

Did you call it in or go to the store? I went to the store so the rep must not be knowledgeable.
NM, you mentioned you did it in the app. I will do the same. Are they going to send you the equipment?

I signed up in store (with Simple Choice), they added the line like normal, and bill credits showed up on the account. They don't need to add any sort of promo code or anything.
The specific bands you want to look for are:
N71 is low (lower speed, higher penetration through objects)
N41 is mid (faster speed, less penetration)
The tmobile home internet app conmects to your 5G gateway and can tell you what band you're currently on
Anybody else experiencing this? Does it have to do with the latency? Speeds are good but pings are high.
