Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

That's not true. Everyone, including me, report same speeds as this $25 plan. It is a data only plan when you log in. But you also get text messages

The only tinkering you need is to buy a Nokia modem from ebay for under $100, closer to $60,and a Cudy router for $40-50. That's pretty much most of the work, as well as signing up. Hundreds of people have done it for over 6 months
Don't the data tablet plans have a data cap at which they get deprioritized and speed become slower?

Does it have to be a Cudy router? Can it be an Asus RC68U? Do you have to modify TTL?

Use "Spoof LAN TTL value" with Asus.

So can I connect Nokia Modem to Asus and not buy Cudy?

Correct, if you properly configured the TTL setting in the Asus to mask transmission traffic. I suspect the Arcadyan may operate in the same fashion. Arcadyan connect to Asus via LAN cable. Run all devices from the Asus. Don't use the Arcadyan's build in WiFi.

What about streaming speeds after having Customer Care add the HD pass? Still 4K-capable?

Ok so here's the easiest scenario for a hardwired connection that i can think of:

1. Sign up for $10 data plan
2. Purchase Nokia 5G21 (or other tmobile modems)
3. Purchase Cudy X6 and change TTL (or any router that can change TTL)

What model Cudy are you using and what speeds are you seeing?

As long as the speed is above 5Mbps down.

Typo...25Mbps. Could be problematic during peak hours.

Gotcha, thanks. I thought the HD pass throttles down from full bandwidth to about 6 Mbit or so. Need to try on my phone now.

Edit: seems like Fast.com is getting same speed as Speedtest on my phone

Tforce is fine and dandy but Twitter and FB require a real phone number to sign up. No way many of us are willing to give them real info just to speak with a rep. So we are stuck with the standard chat reps on the tmo website.
Get a Google Voice number or something

Can sprint legacy customers get this deal?
I was in a tmobile store last night having a replacement phone activated under my 15 year old legacy $34 unlimited sprint legacy plan, and was told no. I'm still sprint yet not considered tmobile even though sprint is now tmobile. The in store rep was an actual helpful and knowledgeable person. He suggested calling in for the $25 plan as he couldn't make it work in store. The system still hasn't updated the sprint side of things.

Just installed a Waveform 4x4 antenna to the Arcadyan KVD21 gateway and am getting 600+ Mbps down and 100+ Mbps up with sub 20 ping. I'm about half mile from the tower. $25 a month for this is amazing.

edit: No problems running my PS5 or Series X online
