Great price but most of the reviews state it isnt consistant speeds and has frequent drops.

I wonder if this is portable as long as you have an oulet for power?

I had this from its inception, originally it wasn't too bad-as time went on the signal got worse and buffered like nuts, 3 TV's a pc and phone. I finally gave up after 7 months and terrible to non-existent customer service. The price is definitely tempting, btw, their newer modem was worst than their first, I had a pc fan underneath to cool it down, no difference.

If true it's a no brainer. I have the service. You can expect 100mbs-300mbs. Down time nonexistent.

How do you get the promo code added via online? I just ordered online, but it still said $50 at the checkout. I called them they said I should quality for the $25 if ordered between the promo period.
It just automatically added the promo code after I added the offer to the cart.

Ok, webpage shows the 25/month but then after checking address it says $50 at checkout I order online an hour ago. I'll contact them about it. I heard it applies automatically after ordering, but I need to confirm.

My house is not available so I used a random address that is available and have it shipped to my house.
How did you find that working random address?

Use "Spoof LAN TTL value" with Asus.
As I recalled, on the WAN GUI menu, under Special Requirement from ISP, you will see Spoof LAN TTL value.

I can only see $25 of 2022 HINT P22, but not $5 autopay. So mine is showing $30. My account is on autopay.

I found the setting but it's not allowing for a custom TTL value. What am I missing? Does it "just work" with it being enabled?

Enable this option overwrites outgoing packets' TTL to the router's default 64. This should fool the ISP thinking that there is no additional device added. You can also manually set TTL value if you install DD-WRT firmware.

Imagine you own TM/or the CEO, who needs to report to the board/share holder, would you do the 1st offer, or the 2nd offer

Btw, assuming the service is good/stable, I would be happy with the 1st offer
Remember NetZero back in the 2000's? Free internet with a small ad bar, lol.

Home Internet is available at your address, but only the primary account holder can add it to this account.

Frown
Any way around this?

With this service, you don't get a public IP. In other words, if you run any kind of server at home that you want to be publicly accessible, it can't be done. You don't get the ability to set up port forwarding either.

I bought this service,.cancelled spectrum, used T-Mobile for three days, called spectrum back and said I wanted to sign up as a new customer. It somehow worked and I locked in to their low cost for two years 🤣.

While I had this, I had issue with zoom dropping out and vastly wild speed fictional from 3 to 300mbps at any given time. Admittedly, it was before it was generally available and I signed up as a beta tester.
I'm experiencing exactly the same issue since last couple of days.
