I'm able to apply the promo on a $12 order but I'm unable to place the order. After tapping the red Place Order button, it turns light gray and then turns back red. I'm not seeing any errorโ€ฆ

It's restaurant specific. I only do pickup and once in a while I will get there and see in store is a couple dollars less per item so I make a mental note not to use them with DD anymore

That's incorrect. You set CC as the default payment but it still draws from credit balance first. I've placed three orders all out of a $45 balance I had.

Got $10 off $12 promo. Only thing I hate is that we need to use our Door Dash credits with the Chase Sapphire promo instead of using a CC to pay the difference.

I reached out to chat support with three different people. The first person ended chat and hung up on me. The next two people directed me to contact Chase directly. They were unhelpful. Honestly, in my experience DoorDash has been hit or miss (mostly miss) when it comes to their promo system with Chase cards. I swear there are bugs in my account after I added my Chase Sapphire card. For a while, DashPass 5% back pickup benefits wouldn't work either and it was a whole mess to sort it out with them. Here's to hoping contacting Chase later this week will fix my issue. (I doubt it. They'll just probably tell me to contact DoorDash ๐Ÿ™„

I had $100 credit in my account and was able to redeem the credit with no problem.

I posted 3 screen shots below of what I saw during the checkout process. Under the Summary, you have to click on "Promo code". Under Awards & Promotions, you should see, "Chase Sapphire - $10 Off 3 Orders." Click on Apply. The $10 discount should then apply to your order. If you don't see the offer under Awards & Promotions, it means you're not eligible for the offer.

This was using the app. I tried the website and I get an error "The promotion cannot be applied to this order. Please remove or use another promotion code." I'm using a Sapphire Preferred with DoorDash Pass. I've tried it on several different restaurants on pickup orders with dishes of $12-15.

I agree with you. They are not helpful at all. I somehow did not get the $5 monthly credit anymore and the chat support did not know how to fix the issue.
