I'd say worth it at 40-50 bucks but not worth it at 70

The soundtrack is great if you enjoy Hip-Hop music. I will happily say this is the best Need for Speed of the last 4-5 games IMO.

But even if you don't believe me, there is a 10 hour trial of the game available on EA Play. On PC/PS5, it's $5 if you don't have it. On Xbox, it's included if you have Game Pass Ultimate. So just try it for yourself.
you provided the most informative review. compared to the others who said "this is the worse for many reasons" but somehow forgot to explain even a single reason.

Been playing this via the 10 hour trial on my PC and it looks great and is fun to play.
I never pay attention to the stories in these games cause they really don't mean jack here. Gameplay is fun thus far, cars are cool, so I'll be grabbing this when it drops!

Best NFS that has been released in the past ~6 years.

I don't think we'll ever get a NFS that will be as amazing as the Underground/2, but unbound is fun. I enjoy the cartoon/anime effects and it does have a pretty good feel of Chicago to it. Haters go'n hate, but with this game, I think we're going in the right direction.

I played the 10 hour trial and it's the first NFS game that I've enjoyed since Most Wanted came out 17 years ago. I wasn't a fan of the cartoony car effects at first, but I don't really notice them anymore. I still wish there was an option to turn them off though. The cops in the game are also a little over the top... At least in the story. I don't play NFS online. I was really enjoying the grind though to upgrade my car. With that said, I'm still waiting for a sale to dive back in and finish. I'd probably bite for $45.

That's the deal I'm waiting on. I was about to buy it for PC at $40, but that Target deal popped up. I'm willing to give the game a try. I liked Heat a little bit, it was a step in the right direction and this looks to be more of that.
