Grab the formovie 4k for same price if still on sale. Chris majestic and others gave high praise.

Wish I'd gotten this instead of the 85" Samsung QN90. The Samsung looks great, but Jesus, it weights a lot! Not looking forward to moving it.

Costco & bestbuy have them for same price for more than 2 months. May be its a regular price. Catch with costco is get $300 cash card.

Again i am not sure why will any one buy regular laser projector when trichroma laser projector is available for similar or lesser price?

Vava trichroma was on sale for $2300, considering ALR SCREEN price extra which will come to similar price range.

I consider vava trichroma is some what equivalent to Hisense L9G.

I am waiting for a 100 inch setup for around $3000 total.

Btw, Hisense sent out an OTA update and bricked by L5F. Thankfully still had about a month of warranty. They had to swap out all the internals apparently.

So don't ever update it, which is odd because I never received an update in the past.

Otherwise the projector is sick.

The problem with ust is alr screens are super expensive once we go above 120'' screen size.

Unfortunately I don't plan to go UST until I have the space to have a good setup going. Right now I have the BenQ TK700STi on a 120" regular projector stand screen. The projector is really good.

The sale might be there for that long but it has been shown as sold out for a while now, if anything Costco has restocked the item which is great news for people who missed it the first time around.

Heads up that this projector does not have native 4K resolution. It has a 1080p chip with pixel shift, designed to replicate true 4K. Not that you'll find a native 4K a projector in this price range, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
