This listing is not correct as of April 7th. Hot Spot is no longer free. It is $5 a month

North America Connect is not free and is $5 a month

International Connect is not free and is $5 a month.

Taxes and fees are NOT included in the $25 price.

This is billed as a post-paid plan, so:
- You can finance devices
- Signup will require a credit check
- Taxes and fees may be higher compared to pre-paid plans, but some users are reporting that they are the same as the boost pre-paid plans.

Boost has multiple network options: T-Mobile, AT&T, and Boot's own network (currently deploying, may use bands that are not widely supported in current phones)
They say that in the future they will enable auto-switching between networks to improve coverage, but that is NOT available today.
Currently if you sign up, you will be put on the AT&T network by default. You can request to switch to T-Mobile network if desired.
Current coverage will be the same as other pre-paid options. For example, if you are with Boost on the AT&T network, then coverage will be similar to Cricket. If on the T-Mobile network then coverage will be similar to Metro.

----------------------------
Boost Infinite Unlock policy for phone sold by them:

The term "locked" means that your Phone can only be used with Boost Infinite on the Boost Infinite Wireless network and cannot be activated on any other wireless carrier's network. An "unlocked" Phone isn't restricted to our network, and you may be able to use it with another wireless service provider.

If you purchase a Phone from us, we will unlock your Phone after you complete any financing plan you used to purchase your Phone. If you purchase a Phone from us and pay for it in full, your phone will be eligible to be unlocked right away. In either case, we will automatically unlock your Phone remotely within two (2) business days after your Phone becomes eligible for unlocking, without additional fee. However, if you meet the requirements and it is not technically possible to unlock your Phone remotely, we will instead immediate notify to you that your Phone is eligible to be unlocked.

If you try to reprogram or activate your Phone on another carrier's network or change the Phone's initial programming or settings, you may not be able to reactivate the Phone for use with the Service or other services we offer.

We will only activate Phones certified to work with Services we offer. We are not able to unlock phones from other carriers.

If you believe that you meet the requirements of this Unlocking Policy, and would like to request that your Phone be unlocked, please contact us at 866-957-7772.

Unlocking for Military Personnel

Boost Infinite greatly appreciates the service that our U.S. military men and women provide at home and abroad. If you are deployed overseas in the military, we will unlock your Phone if:

We are technically able to perform an international SIM unlock for your Phone
You are or a family member on your account with us is an of an active member of a branch of the United States military
You or a family member on your account with us has been issued overseas deployment papers
You are a current, authenticated Boost Infinite customer
Your account is in good standing
No more than two Phones on the account have been unlocked in the 12 months prior to the day you request that your Phone be unlocked

Military personnel deployed overseas can contact Boost Infinite Customer Care to request to an international SIM unlock by calling 866-957-7772.

Even if you satisfy the other conditions in this Unlocking Policy, we may refuse a request to unlock your Phone if we believe it would result in an abuse of these policies, The Deal or that it is part of an effort to defraud us or our customers.

One plan. One price. No strings.

Boost Infinite customers will have access to Dish's own 5G network, as well as the networks of AT&T and T-Mobile. The $25 price doesn't include fees and taxes or any streaming service perks, and speeds will be slowed after a 30-gigabyte cap. Customers must sign up online with a credit card or electronic payment. There will be a "soft check" of the customer's credit quality as opposed to a lengthy credit application.

"Boost noted that taxes and fees may be extra. The company says it is "taking a stand on pricing" by offering the $25 rate plan "forever." People who take advantage of the beta will be able to enjoy the $25 plan as long as they hold onto their Boost Infinite account and keep the account in good standing."
Requires last 4 of SSN# for a soft pull to see if you're even eligible. Is this billed as postpaid?
"unlimited" up to 30GB
Then throttled

It used to be that prepaid carriers did not even have international roaming, so It almost comes as a surprise to me that some of them have it, or even have North America plans for a reasonable $5.

I'm not saying their customer service isn't terrible, because I had a nightmare porting in with them as well but my expectation based on what I had read here was really low. I don't expect a $25 a month prepaid carrier to provide the same level of support and international roaming as a $100/ month postpaid account.

Service wise I have been happy with Infinite (AT&T is good in my area) and as long as I don't have to deal with CS should be OK.

Boost Infinite is postpaid, not prepaid.

That's completely irrelevant as to being prepaid or postpaid. Thank you, come again.

I was with them for 2 months and I am leaving. I was traveling in Mexico, paid for the service there, and it did not work. I contacted support. They said the North American plan, for roaming in Mexico only works while in the US. Then they said I ran out of data, but I never connected. Then they said that Iphone SE 2020 was not compatible.

I had SimpleMobile for 2 years, and it worked on that phone, in Mexico, just fine.

Support said they escalated my ticket. I emailed them every day, asking for a status, and there was none. I was there for 9 days, stranded without a working phone. They did not care, and when I returned to the states, they are now ignoring me and not responding.

DO NOT SIGN UP.

You all may think I am making this up, but i can provide you e-mails and screen shots as proof.
interesting. I was in Mexico for about 2 weeks, and service worked great after I enabled roaming. it didn't charge me any extra. What was strange was that my pixel was able to get roaming service when friend's AT&T iphones xs were not able to at the same location.

How is this better than the Tello $29 unlimited plan , which is not unlimited? not the hotspot.? Which is why I switched, only 5 go of hotspot then it gets throttled down so much you can't use it. And no 5g speeds with iPhone. The Tello service has been so so.

Does this Boost plan give you more? Looking to move on from Tello.

My bigger issue, is not that it didn't work. It is that support was blaming me. First they told me the the North America connect, which is Mexico Roaming, only works in the US. Then I was told that my iphone SE 2020 wasn't compatible. Then they told me I used all my data, and I asked how much I used, and they said they don't see any usage. THEN back in the states, they told me that i have to active it for the PRIOR month for it to work, I pasted them their FAQ which says it is immediate. I have ALL of this in writing, so there is no way they can claim otherwise.

Nope. The thread states they add-ons were $5. At the time of the posting it was, now it is $10 in the Wiki. It isn't irrelevant if you are lookin for a deal, this makes the deal worth. Thank you, come again.

BoostInfinite admitted they had a problem with the North American Connect. Their offer for stranding me without a phone, and NOT ESCALATING my ticket was $5. They have no care for the trouble they have caused me, and can't explain why they ignored me for 20 days. I am porting out my number, and they seemed happy to get rid of me.

This was verbal. I am continuing to press the issue. This issue they claim is their app does not work correctly, that I need to call to get it enabled. So i followed up with "I did call, and chatted with support, and emailed, all are clearly documented, why couldn't they enable it then". The response was, "We can't talk about internal issues with customers".. This is the last I have from facebook chat "This ordeal has been escalated, and we're ensuring to follow up and address this with our teams. We couldn't provide you with any internal findings, but rest assured that this situation is being handled with the utmost urgency." It has been 24 days.. some urgency...........

So is Mint and every other T-Mobile reseller.

Get a black or blue SIM next time for Boost and use AT&T's towers.
