look at 3 attachments from when i did this deal a few months back.
in bay area , ca
when i had only 1 line.===>total was 16.44
when i had 5 lines===> total was 21.75
in middle when i added 2 lines on 8/24 and 2 lines on 8/26.
the bill as crazyhigh.
and this was after getting a 60 courtesy credit !!

and u can verify it online account?
i see the value in not involving a human, (stay under radar), so porting out is best.
but it adds cost that may be unnecessary.

I went by the due date, so I still had another bill to pay.
The cancellation was fine.
Dealing with Xfinity to get my 5x$200 was a PITA.
You'd think the system would honor the activation and $200 bonus automatically.
Nope.
I had to call once, and they had to elevate a ticket.
I still didn't get all of my $200 bonuses, but I didn't have time to deal with calling them and staying on line. I got a different bonus (opening a line), so it made up for the missing port bonuses. I think I was short $150, but in the end, I still made out, so I moved on.
Can someone explain how a port out works to a carriet that uses eSIM? When carriers talk about using eSiM instead of regular SIM when porting in does it even matter what phone IMEI we use or does the phone be compatible to work with eSIM? Can we just do the port in with eSIM and not really need the actual phone since we just want to cancel the line and not really use it with the new carrier?

So if I am only doing this to get the $200 GC only and will port in 5 line and port all 5 lines out after getting the GC how do you get around the issue with needing 5 compatible devices for those 5 lines? Don't they require 5 different IMEIs and a unique one for each line opened?
Yes I've had many frustrating calls with them, but also many good ones lately. And one REAL surprise was that I've been on since almost the beginning when it was limited to 4 or 5 lines (can't remember) per account. I was taking care of my parents phone too so I had to have some lines on my account on some on theirs which meant extra cost since they barely used any data. Fast forward to 10 lines per account and they were able and willing to move the lines all to my account seamlessly and instantly. They did this and in the process I was saving AT LEAST the minimum of $15 for 1GB shared data (which at the time was during peak Covid so it halved my monthly bill.
