I was a huge proponent of this service at one time. The coverage is excellent and the price is low. However, their customer service is so poor that I absolutely would not recommend it to anyone. I spent at least 8 hours on the phone with them when I tried to simply move a line to another account. Instead of transferring, they disconnected the line and I lost access to it. You have been warned.

Xfinity customer support is bad, I have not received the multi product discount. Not yet received the $100 gift card. Have been following up for last two months multiple calls.

I saw the same issue so I called Xfinity Mobile customer service and had them place my order. They text you a link to review and confirm the order before they can submit. That page showed $200 prepaid card attached to my order. So I guess the only thing I may have lost is the $5 cashback from SlickDeals!

Lol here we go again!! Dunno why people hate on Xfinity so much.. if anything they've been paying me above and beyond to be their customer...

Anyways, what's the cheapest way to get hold of a number.. boost seems to be $5 now.. Google voice is $3.. any other option?
Text Now? Weren't they handing out free SIMs a few days ago?

Why would anyone who has experienced the worst possible customer service in the world by having Comcast as their ISP ever sign up for this to get more of the same?

Are you speaking from experience? I don't see any terms restricting you from using a number or device IMEI that was previously used on XM. I've personally used a device that was purchased on XM, ported out, then back in for a previous BYOD promo (but different number).
They'll track it for BYOD promos -- if you don't want delays/problems/fight for manual approval then use new number & IMEI for automatic rebate processing

2019: used 2 Samsungs -- got 2 BYOD rebates
2020: new iPhone + reused 2 Samsungs for 3 BYOD -- only 1 rebate got approved for iPhone

Winter 2021: 6 lines (reused one iPhone from above) -- only 5 rebates got approved (entire rebate got stuck until I contacted them then they processed it for 5 lines)

Fall 2022: 5 lines (didn't reuse) -- all 5 approved just waiting for them to send the rebate card

All were different phone numbers

I went to local Xfinity store last week to renew home internet contract. The store employee told me about the Xfinity mobile switch over promo they are running. He told me we would get $400 Visa gift card per line. He said, "you have 5 lines so you will get $2000 Visa gift card for 5 lines". He gave me his business card with his phone number. Also, he mentioned it's not a contract since Xfinity mobile doesn't do contact so if we want to leave Xfinity after receiving Visa gift card which is in 12-16 weeks (?), there's no penalty.

We are pretty happy with T-mobile. I am not sure how much we pay since husband is in charge of paying phone bill. The Xfinity guy said $160ish after tax for 5 lines per month. Do you think it's worth it for us to switch? Our cellphones are all locked to T-mobile, I think, so I am guessing we need to get them unlocked?

By the way, local Xfinity store has always had better service than over the phone customer service for us.

He wrote on his business card about it and told me to call him if we were interested in switching. You can go to your store in person and ask about their promo. He said the promo ends 12/20 or so.

If u are getting good price on your home internet as well, on top of the XM $2000 GC, i think its a good deal. (Im paying $30/month for 24months for 800M internet)

Last time I looked into a similar deal w/ Xfinity Mobile, back in June 2022, my Motorola G Power 2021 phone did not "qualify" as a "bring your own phone". It appears to be same now, only iPhone, Galaxy and Pixel phones qualify (?).
Does anyone know if there is a workaround or trick to bring and use a Motorola G Power 2021 phone for this deal?

(I currently have Xfinity Internet and been very happy with them...)

Interesting. How long did it take for you to find out that those lines didn't qualify? Did they show as not qualified in the reward center? Or did you have to wait 90 days before they did rejected it?

Wow, you are paying $30/month for internet? Is that Xfinity? That's a great price. We pay $45/month after all the tax and fees for Xfinity internet only (1229GB?) with 1 year contract.
