They are pretty sturdy. Not hurricane sturdy though. They are not plastic. Its reinforced PVC. Something that will last you 15-20 years easy. Sun doesnt decay the stuff.
You do need pretty sturdy and LEVEL foundation. Depending on what you wanna store. If the foundation is not level, peices will not fit easy (or even well enough to be sturdy).
Yes you can use 12x12 tiles. Imp part is to have the stuff underneath very level and something that wont sag or erode over time. So 2" of crushed concrete underneath the 12x12 will suffice.

The #1 issue with resin sheds is not having a flat, level base. The lack of this will cause the sheds to shift over time, meaning doors will misalign and maybe the structure will fail. Worst case is that you won't even be able to get it assembled when panels don't line up properly.
For really small sheds with unitary (single piece) bases, I think a rudimentary base with pavers and some manner of leveling below them is sufficient. For larger units that are less rigid, that's when you need to be paying more attention to the flat and level-ness of the base. The last resin shed I purchased was an 8*8' I believe - pretty large - and rather than trying to level such a large area with pavers, I elected to build a plinth/base out of 2x6" and plywood. It's *far* easier to level with pavers in the corners, since the plinth itself is so rigid.

- the roof caved in one year with heavy snow. Didn't have that issue with the plastic shed
- the biggest pain in my ass were the doors - they tended to bind up.
- lacked a floor. I see the model you linked is the same. It has a stringer at the bottom front basically just to tie the 2 sides together. The floor is whatever you build it on.

In the southwest these metal ones hold up a lot better than the plastic ones. Temps hit 100 here in the summer and the plastic ones warp out over time.
