What's the TL;DR difference on this ($140) vs the 2021 4k 2nd Gen 64GB ($100) / 32GB ($80) besides the storage size and price?

The new 3rd GEN comes with the A15 Bionic chip vs the 2nd Gen has the A14.

3rd gen is also smaller in size and is fanless compared to 2nd gen. Gen 3 also supports hdr10+.

Not sure if the processor difference creates a real world difference. The old one still runs video streaming wise at perfect pace. If you want to play games maybe then?

I upgraded to this over a 32gb 1st gen 4k. Not totally sure why, but I'm sure I'll be happy with it. My 32gb is maxed out with infuse and the screensavers, which I like.
