Depends on the shoe/boot, width and color. In the links I posted you can get pretty much any size or width you want. I got a 12.5 wide (hard to find) in the Moab 2 Gore-Tex shoe.

Thanks OP. Been looking to replace my old Moab 2 shoes with Gore Tex. Been wearing Merrells for years and was hoping these would go on sale at some point.

How have you found the waterproofing? This review says it's not very waterproof. Numerous reviews on Amazon and REI complain about the same problem.

There's a difference between the waterproof and the GoreTex. I can't comment on the waterproof, which I believe is just a coating that is probably hit or miss and wears off. GoreTex is an actual waterproof material that the shoe is made of. But the GoreTex is great. I've had two pairs of Moabs (the original and the 2) and I wear them all year, in rain and snow. Never have I had wet feet. I can highly recommend the GoreTex version. They may not be as breathable and can be warm, but I don't mind, especially in the winter.

Bought the Merrell MOAB waterpoof ones. First time out in light rain/drizzle, 1.5 mile walk, top of socks and toes wet. Not waterproof.

Good to hear, I got a pair of the low Gore-Tex for light summer hikes in the North East.

I am sure the waterproof ones are decent, all Moabs rate extremely well but at this price I would go Gore-Tex or the Vents if you are hiking hot areas like Arizona.

But if anyone is asking the Moab 2 rates extremely well, tens of thousands of reviews on Amazon averaging 4.5/5.

I just ordered a pair of REVEAL 2 GORE-TEX from Salomon. How do the Moab 2 GORE-TEX compare?

Thank you OP! I had these on my deal alerts for a long time trying to find my size. Picked up some MOAB 2 ventilators for half of retail price. Good find!

Both good shoes; people love both brands. I think it would come down to trying them both on and seeing what feels better to you and/or which one you can get at the better price.
