I went with the bitdefender and regret it. I wish I got this as the bitdefender is so spammy and tries to sell you their other products with pop ups. NO THANKS.

This is a really Good price

When I tried to do that a year ago it replaced instead of extended the sub. I had to call CS to get it extended. They said you have to let it run out or call to get an extension.

Really? I've used it for years and have never gotten a single pop up. Maybe there is a setting somewhere in there that you can turn off to stop them?

I was going to buy couple of licenses until I saw this review from one of the newegg customers

Pros: I've used Malwarebytes for years, and it never disappoints, and the deal I got was fabulous. It takes care of deterrents that normal anti-virus doesn't take out.

Cons: The only thing that I'd like to see is that if you used one license, that the other's wouldn't be affected. Meaning, I purchased 3 licenses, and you don't always use those licenses at once. So, when you start one license, the other ones will start too. So, if you have 3 licenses, and use one, and don't wait a month until you use the others, then they lose a life too.

I will also never use Bitdefender again due to the excessive advertising.

I dropped them for the same reason. I couldn't find any setting to turn off all the spam which came via popup and email always wanting me to extend my subscription, upgrade, purchase another product, etc.

Also, I neglected to shut off the auto-renew setting and was renewed at 4 times what I paid. It took months for me to finally get a refund from them.

its same for every group subscription. even Microsoft 365 family - once first license activated then the all 6 licenses starts the same time.

Am i missing something here?

You mean to say 6 seats. Each seat is not a license. The license itself (for up to 6 seats) does stack for up to 5 years with Microsoft. MWB does not work that way. You can add multiple licenses to the account (each with 3 seats) and only activate them AFTER the year is up otherwise it turns your 3 seats into 6 if you combine two 3 person licenses.

That said, what this person is saying isn't entirely clear on seats vs licenses.

I've got 4 malwarebytes premium free for life installed and don't use it other to scan for something I think might be maleware which is almost never. It conflicts with some of my windows programs. Microsofts built in security is really all you need unless you are surfing dangerously.
