I cannot speak for the 800 but this seems like a decent price. I have been using a Cinema 600 since November 2020 and this appears to be similar with the addition of Atmos. I purchased my bar for $299, so $100 for the next step up is not surprising however I do question Atmos on sound bars in general. Before the Cinema 600 I tried a Samsung HW-Q70T (also "atmos") that was entirely inadequate for our needs. The Cinema 600 for our purposes (primary sound source on main tv - occasional music listening) is far superior. The interface leaves something to be desired, but the soundstage is clearer & wider, the bass (and volume in general) is sufficient to shake the walls and make my wife yell at me when watching action movies. I purchased the add-on surround speakers. While they do add surround on certain content, and we found them to be easy blend into our decor given their smallish size, I am not absolutely sure I would purchase them again. When it comes to gee-wizardry, I would rate the Klipsch quite low, but when it comes to actual sound clarity, output, and soundstage (again in our room), I would rate it well when considering it is a soundbar and will never be as good as a real home theater system.

Felt the same about the q70t. I have a 900t in my living room with rear speakers added and that works okay for what it is. I'm glad I got it for less than half of retail and the rear speakers for 34.00.
The q70t was a replacement from Samsung after a discontinued q60 harman kardon unit went bad. That's what they sent as a replacement. It's fine for the bedroom but I'd never run it as a living room set up.
Just wondering whether Sonos arc sound bar is worth the hype compared to this which is 6 times cheaper. TIA
Not worth the hype. If your TV has earc port and if you can afford to spend additional money for subwoofer - and - if your family like to watch at a very low volume(like 3%) then only Arc is ok. Otherwise Arc is useless because it depends on TV's ARC vs eARC HDMI. I cannot comment on this system.
The guy above said the same exact thing. You work in teams?
I have the 600 from the Black Friday deal a couple years ago and after having to exchange the first one due to a constant hum, I've really enjoyed the replacement. Sound quality is fantastic. Excellent bass for a 10" sub. Dialog is easily heard, which is great for me with some issues on hearing dialog with other sound bars.
Some minor connection issues from time to time via earc audio, but not sure if it is the sound bar or my Vizio TV.
If I didn't have the 600 already,I'd be tempted by the 800.

I was interested until I checked out the reviews and pics on Amazon… Yikes! Guess I'll stick with my Sonos setup
First round of these had a lot of QC problems. When I exchanged mine via warranty, the second one I received was packed in a different box. Sub is "huge".
I have this. Sounds great and I added the surround 3 speakers to it. I had to go through the technical support several times as their firmware is bad. After 1 year it is now somewhat stable but still has issues. Randomly it will lockout and the only way is to pull the plug and turn it back on. I have tried several other pieces and all of them inhibit the same issue. The vocal range is not very good and you need to make a lot of adjustments to get it right.
Overall - very bad hardware design. Works when it wants to. Sound is excellent. Not true Dolby Atmos. Bluetooth has a very short range and does not work all the time.
For $400 it is a steal with the subwoofer if you do not mind spending hours on end with their technical support team to fix the issues.
They have a 90 day return policy so it is worth a shot.
