Terrible idea to use auto coolant for this, it's toxic AF. Walmart+ has free shipping on the RV potable water antifreeze, $4 per gallon.

Yes! The new formulation of Peak and Prestone can be used in ANY car, and far superior protection of buildup and corrosion to the old ones made just for Asian cars. Just be sure that you purchase the container that reads "All Vehicles".

Have a *close* look at the antifreeze from your manufacturer (Toyota, Honda, Renault, etc.) There will be a note that it meets XYZ specification. Write it down, and then look at what specification Prestone, or other antifreeze, meets. You're right to be concerned since it really does matter with some cars; who needs to save $25 on antifreeze, then spend $1k on repair due to wrong antifreeze. BTW, if color of antifreeze is "wrong" -and that concerns you- a few drops of food color will fix it.

Figures the $10 per gallon rebate ended on the 30th (a week ago). It would have been a money maker! Aside that, this thread reminded me that I had not got the rebate back yet from October. It shows I submitted OCT 27, but still "Final processing" for weeks now.. 42 days, used online submission. It is due.

I was hoping to be able to find the Marine version of this to winterize toilets and sinks, but here in SoCal the big companies have purchased out all the pink stuff from every store

2 limit is no deal by far. Aces are so spread out. I can go to the local hardware store and get a pallet of long life concentrate for $10/gal (used to be $9, thanks inflation).

My Toyota needs an orange one, my Chevy a red one and this one says for all cars. What is really the difference can someone explain?

I know the website says limit 2 but I was able to order 6 and get the discounted price for all of them. Now I don't have them in hand yet but the checkout/receipt went smooth and gave me a discount on all of them. We shall see.... Picked up the stuff at the store - all good with ordering 6 on-line with in store pickup. great deal!
