I went to three stores....
1st showed it had none but it had 5
2nd store showed it had 5 and we searched high an low and couldn't find them.
3rd store showed 6 and had 6

Just ensure that you've got the necessary wires behind your current thermostat ahead of time and you'll be fine. We were lucky in that the wires we needed (I believe the "C" wire in particular) had been pulled from the basement unit but never actually used on the existing "dumb" thermostat - a nice surprise!
