I've recently bought some cycling gear from Adidas (bib shorts and jersey) and had to return them. Their stuff is just not up to par when you compare it to the likes of Castelli or even lower end Pearl Izumi. The bib shorts retail for $180 but the padding was not comfortable beyond a 90min ride. For $48, looks like a nice cycling shoe but can't convince myself to get it as a spare to my Shimano RC7's especially given their track record on cycling gear.

TL : DR - I don't think Adidas is on par with the competition when it comes to cycling gear. Don't let their retail prices fool you.

Good looking shoe...price is...slick IMHO.

edit : 40% off code applicable to all of Adidas' store, including already discounted items, five ten shies etc, so, look around.

Does anyone own these? They look like they'd be kinda comfortable to walk around in.

Even without cleats, the hard sole would be uncomfortable to walk in.
Once you put on cleats (these are 3-bolt road pattern), they will suck to walk in.

If you really need to walk in cycling shoes, it'd be better to get 2-bolt shoes (SPD) that hve the cleat cavity recessed. MTB/Gravel shoes will also generally have rubber tread on the bottom instead of plastic or carbon like road shoes.
