I've been putting together a sweet Alder Lake system for a few months and only lack DDR4 RAM. (Of which the vast majority of my purchases have been Slick Deal finds including the Micro-Center 12700k and Asus DDR4 motherboard 🙂). I am wanting Samsung B-die chips on said RAM so ive been scoping out best deals. Apparently lowest price 32gb (16x2) kits of B-die are HP V10's, at $199 on Amazon and apparently I missed a 20% off quick deal on black Friday. Well, I was about to give up.hope, just hit Amazon in a, what do I have to lose thought before bed, and low and behold, it's at 20% off again (waiting, it's even lower at $149 now). And their CL14 16gb kits are also on sale.

Anyways, hope this helps someone as they have equal reviews to the equivalent $300+ CL14 B-die DIMMS.

good deal on brand new b die. If you don't care about rgb kits like g skill ares etc can be found cheaper on ebay in the same 3200 14-14-14-14 timings. but for brand new and rgb this is hard to beat

You'd get better performance for your dollar if you'd spent that extra money on DDR5 RAM and mobo rather than expensive b die DDR4

This ram is also b die ddr4 at normal price( 164.99$) with a lower latency because of the clock it has. You can oc to this yourself using the hp bdie ram, but I figured gskill 4600 ram with lowest timings possible is easier to use if you wanted the fastest possible 32gb of ddr4 of ram.

According to B-DIE finder, that one is not a b-die. Just fill the exact model.

Maybe it isn;t b die as you are correct as there is nothing to say that it is, but it has similar latency to that of a b-die ram kit, so it has to be a type of samsung die whether it is e die or whatever as hynix cannot acheive 4600mhz at 1.5 volts.

If you want good RAM and cheaper I suggest E-die micron with almost half the price and with a same potential overclock using Ryzen for 90$

My ITX B450 MB has only 2 RAM slots so it's perfect for me. I ended up canceling the B-DIE order and ordering the Ballistix. My quick research on reddit says it can be overclocked 3600mhz CL16 with little or no trouble.

I was thinking this too. Going with DDR4 is so that you can buy super cheap RAM, if you're going to splurge on b-die you may as well just go ddr5.

This would be a good deal if this ram is able to be overclocked to at least 3600mhz while keeping the low timings. Has anyone tried ocing this ram?

My b-die will do 3600 at 14-14-14-30 and tight sub timings. This HP stuff should easily do similar. It's supposed to be very good.

For ddr5 it will take 6000 cas 30 to beat the performance of that by about 5%.

I'm using the Crucial Ballistix with 12700k. Overclocked to 3600Mhz by giving 1.36v. Ram timings are stock XMP I profile at 16-18-18-36

Looks like they only have the 3200mhz now. I got my 3200mhz 32gb kit running 13-15-12 gear mode 1 stable at 4000mhz with tight timings. I'm pretty happy 😁
