Do yourself a favor and read the T7 Shield review at Tom's Hardware, especially page 2 and 3 with all the graphs. They compare the regular T7 to T7 Shield, SanDisk Extreme V2, currently the same price, and others. You'll see that this regular T7 sucks ass in sustained write speed (see page 3 since page 2 tests the T7 Touch which performs comparable to regular T7) when compared to the Shield and SD. This drive is also at the bottom in most of the other tests as well.

Another option is the SanDisk extreme portable 2TB SSD. It is the same price and also appears to be near CCC all time lows.

If it comes back in stock, the sandisk extreme at Costco is a better buy at $135.

Not really. But keep telling yourself that. I got a price match with Target saved 5%.

Not really?

I prefer the sandisk over Samsung. I have two of each. Neither are bad but saving $15 is well worth it. I'm not sure if they're available in store. I saw the 1tb in store but didn't check about the 2tb

Just be sure that any projects you may be running from the drive are protected (UPS, constant saving to another storage, etc.) I do recommend these.

You should have bought the 1tb Samsung 980 that was just on sale for $39 at dell. Now that's a deal lol more than likely a price error so we'll see if they ship

Gamestop scammed me outta wazoo on this one. Paid the same price for 1TB version back in January, but I had to spend that gift card from the XSX bundle..

Not the 2tb T7, hell not even the 2tb T7 Shield. GameStop Pro was not even $120 so you're lost my friend.

So you're saying get the SanDisk extreme over the T7 for the same price?
