Target sell Panasonic Arc5 Blade advanced Men's electric Shaver ES-LV65-s without cleaning station: $59.99 after $50 coupon on the app, I think that is better deal.
I have this unit (with out the cleaning machine) and I'm interested in getting this set as when I shave after few days my blades start to smell. Does the cleaning machine help fix this ? I wash the blades with soap and then run the machine but still smells. Any advice would be helpful thank you

Wow, this is a heck of a price for the newest lv97 model. You can also get it without the cleaner for an amazing price of $119 (lv67 model), which is the same price I got for my wife last year.
Yes, these are the best razors for women too after doing extensive research last year for my wife. She loves it! Get it for your spouse for Christmas!
Anyhow, this deal is fantastic. Free prime shipping for prime members, and from Amazon. So added 5% back and extended warranty with Amazon visa.
Jumped on one for me to replace my arc3.
To the question about the smell, yes it would work but the lv67 will not work in the cleaning cradle, they are two slightly different units if my memory serves me correctly. So you would need a new unit. Try just cleaning the head and running it in some isopropyl alcohol.

I suspect he smell is like when you torch hair and it gives burning smell of hair? I am afraid it might be due to intense rubbing of hair that causes heat and starts to slightly burn hair.
This looks like no different from Arc5-s except this has cleaning system and charging cradle. If this were full price, I would just go with regular arc5 half the normal price of this. You can remove the blade mesh cover and dip the open head with blade inside peroxide solution and leave it soaked in peroxide overnight, and rinse. And the charge lasts months if not so heavily used or you can just plug in and charges super fast.

This is so tempting. I have the Arc 3 for about 5 years now. I only use it when I am really lazy. Works great on my cheeks but I have to go over under my jaw and neck so many times that it takes just as long as a razor shave. Anyone know how the five handles these problem areas?

I had the opposite problem. Arc5 was just too damn big for soul-patch and moustache area. I found Arc3 easier to maneuver.

I stopped using the cleaning unit after about the first month. Just used it to charge because it seemed to only do a good job after JUST replacing.
I would just remove foil, rinse foil and head and put both on the side of the sink to dry. Use soap also once/twice a week and never had a smell (and I'm in FL, so it's not like things ever get truly dry!).

Get it while it lasts! Thanks OP!
