Still free as I just did last week and always will be but its the last sony studio title that will be a free ps5 upgrade

How does this work, I keep the PS4 disc in AND have a download that runs at the same time?

The downside is that at trade in this may be a bit less value than a PS5, I assume.

Can someone tell me how the PS5 digital version upgrade works? Is it a code that gets redeemed, or is it an automatic thing for anyone that owns the PS4 disc? I'm aware you need the disk in the console, but what I'm wondering is, if I buy a used copy of this down the road, is there a code that likely will have been redeemed?

If I wait for a GOTY/'Complete' edition I'm concerned it may not come with a free PS5 upgrade anymore.

If you buy the PS4 version and download the ps5 version and end up selling it later on. Will new owner still be able to download the ps5 version?

For every game that I've done this for, when you insert the PS4 disc it then allows you to download the PS5 version. You can only play the PS5 version with the disc inserted. As it's tied to the disc I would think it would work on a used version as well as new but I can't confirm from experience.

So not only do you save $10 buying the PS4 version but you could play it on the PS5 and the PS4 but if you buy the PS5 version you can only play it on the PS5 ?
