Great price, maybe lowest ever? However, just keep in mind that the Complete Edition exists, so someday you might want that instead.

I used to be fanatical about waiting for the GOTY Edition of a game to drop before I bought it, but then I realized that I only actually bother with the DLC less than half the time.

The frustrating thing is that the DLCs often bring QoL improvements that funnel back to the main game even if you never do the DLC-specific portions.

This deal is for the PS4 version and I think the complete edition only exists for PC and PS5. In fact, I don't think that the DLC stand alone is available for PS4.

Unlike the first Horizon game, you're locked out of the DLC until you finish the main game, and it's a major setup for the next game...however they're going to handle it thanks to Lance Reddick's passing.

I would say this is the type of game where the DLC would be worth it. The DLC for zero dawn was great.
I already beat this game borrowing it from the library but I'm thinking of dropping the $10 and then getting the DLC so I can play through it.

No, it's not but it's well worth paying extra for the DLC. I just love the entire Horizon world and at this price point for Forbidden West it's a no brainer.

So for someone planning to upgrade to the PS5 version, it would be;
