Man i really want to order this since it's a decent price, but I got both the 9 and then the 10 and both were returned because both have absolutely terrible connectivity issues. Couldn't use the app and it was a complete nightmare. Tried with 4 different devices and it was the same on all. I've heard the newest ones still have these issues too, it's a shame because the cameras are great, but they're such a huge headache because of this and you lose 90% of the usability.

Do you have their subscription? Because then yes. I had an 8 and had it for a little over a year. Believe it was my 3rd or 4th time using it while in Hawaii... Well it wouldn't turn on. Also, it's not really an upgrade when you have to spend $ on the replacement and then on top of that buy all new accessories...for me I had the case, 4 batteries and the dual charger... so over 100 dollars in accessories are junk and would need to spend another 100 on replacements.

also, my GoPro subscription ended the day before my GoPro broke... they didn't care about that either...too bad so sad.

Still working only on gopro's website. And I got the free Enduro battery. I paid with paypal and it only charged $162.xx , even though my total w/tax was $216.xx on the gopro site. So I assume the subscription is charged later?

gopro in the past separated the subscription and i had to jump through hoops and purchase accessories for the amex deal to trigger. after that i swore never again. ended up with the original osmo action 1 since i only shoot in 1080p anyways

Anybody use these on a bike? Could use one for my long rides. $300 is insane but ~$160 might do it for me. How long does battery last?

I think the only decent cams in that price range are the Akaso Brave 7 and Brave 7 LE.

The Brave 7 LE is currently $125 after you clip their coupon on Amazon.

The Brave 7 is currently $169.

They are both just under $200 regular price but every few weeks the price drops into the $120-$130 range for either cam.

Check out reviews on youtube because they're both similar but have different areas where they excel.

Over the years I tried so many Chinese brands/knockoffs like AKASO, SJCAM and few other brands, end up returning them or selling at eBay all of them. Fake 4K, fake resolutions, bad sound, etc. Believe me, they're not worth it. Get a GoPro, DJI or Insta360 if you want a real action camera.

I don't know, but my amex say one or more purchase totalling more than 200. So as long as it is charged before the deadline you should be fine.

I just placed an order and the coupon code for the free battery appears to work. Battery showed up in my cart, so i guess you don't have to be a current subscriber. Got 6% cashback too.
