Is this the old version with the two prong plug charger? I heard the old version was stronger and had a bigger battery than the new 4100

Old version definitely better. I picked up new version from target and had to return it because it was not powerful enough. That one was HX3681. The fact that this is the plug in charger and not USB makes me think it is old version.

i purchased the 6100 when the Phillips deal was live, best upgrade from a normal toothbrush. Night and day difference, bought the gum care pieces, its been great. The 4100 doesnt have the intensity brushing option, that is something i use often but is on case by case basis depending on the person.

Good price. The price of this sits comfortably at 39.99 and sometimes there are sales for 34.99. This is the newer model without the gross mold issue. If you still do have the old model just store the handle and head separately and you will likely not have a mold issue. I did that and never had mold in mine. Last piece of advice: DO NOT buy off-brand brush heads - there is definitely a quality difference! You only get one set of teeth.

You returned a toothbrush after using it? Seriously?

Ummmmm…. Technically, you get two sets genius. Your baby teeth grow in and then fall out and then you get your adult teeth.

I used my own brush head when i tried it and gave them back the brand new one that came with it and marked it as defective on return option. So, who knows what target will do with it. 🤷

HAHA Got me. I started reading your reply and thought "oh great a jerk..." but then ended up having a good laugh.

7x more plaque is the older stronger motor. 5x more plaque is the newer weaker motor.
