This is for 18V system and Tool Only. You also do not set it and forget it. You must set your PSI and hold the trigger the whole time.

As much as I like Makita I didn't like this inflator at all . Ended up getting Ridgid one , Auto set and comes with 12v wire for half a price

I would agree with this. Somewhat disappointed with this inflator. Have to hold the trigger and then guess how far past my goal pressure I should go and then let off the trigger and give it some time to settle to the actual pressure

Agree I am invested heavily in Makita 18V, but this one misses the mark. Thanks for posting though OP.

I put a strip of velcro wire wrap around the handle and slide it up over the button to hold it, but it's still a pain.

Also, if I want 35 psi, I set it to 34.0 or 34.5, because it does keep going past the set amount.

Same here. I went with the Sun Joe at $25 a while back. I have many Makita LXT but for light duty use I have 3 Ryobis.

After 3-4 cheap car inflators that would just out of the blue stop working one day when I needed them to, I bought this the moment it came out. It works for my van tires which are higher PSI than the air pumps at most gas stations.

The features are not great. It's annoying that the trigger doesn't have a lock and annoying that I have to let it rest if I'm filling all 4 tires, which is inherent to this type of inflator, but I also have a pretty high confidence that it won't fail when I need it. It's not a frequent use tool, and it has worked reliably with batteries I always have on hand, which is what I wanted.

I have this and I love it. It doesn't take that long to top off a low tire. Why do you need to have a trigger lock? How freakin' lazy are you people? Maybe it should come with a chair too. The inflator stops pumping when it gets to pressure. Why are you guessing how far past your goal pressure to go? Read the instructions!

"You also do not set it and forget it. You must set your PSI" It stays at whatever the last setting was. You can change the PSI to whatever the tire requires. Did you think it could tell what the PSI should be when to connect it?

The complaints on this are laughable. Just WOW.

$24.97. I have deterioration of my spine and appreciate not having to stay bent over, or not having to move my vehicles so the stem is at the top of the wheel
