Update: Bostonyankee's suggestion about account managers (on page 6 of this discussion) worked for me.
My 12 month required service with Verizon(for previous gift card promotion) is ending soon. Probably won't stay with verizon just for this promotion. But if you're with verizon anyway, this seems to be a great deal.

On a serious note, your Netflix subscription is managed and billed by Vz after signing up for this deal. You need to manage it there. My advice would be to set a calendar reminder for 12/1/23 and check it then. I don't see anything about autorenew in my Netflix subscription, just a button that shows Off. Not sure if that refers to autorenewal though. It's very likely if you muck something up and end up cancelling it will be either very difficult or impossible to get things fixed, hence the recommendation to mark your calendar.
I did that yesterday and wasted 30+ minutes just to get Disney cancelled.

Why does nothing ever work the way it is supposed to for me?!? We qualify for this offer as Verizon Wireless Play More Plan customers and it took my $83.88 readily enough but when I went to activate my AMC+ service, they wanted to charge me $59.88 for 12 months (=$4.99/month) with the promo code VZPLUSSAVE or something like that. I couldn't figure out how to get around that, so I called Verizon. AMC+ had activated a free Verizon promo subscription through 12/31/2022 and wanted my credit card to extend the subscription.
After 2 hours on the phone with a genuinely nice Verizon representative committed to resolving my problem, I ended up
My conscientious rep spent a lot of time documenting everything extensively while we talked so I believe this will all happen. While I have a lot of billing problems with Verizon, they eventually come through on their promises and give out "Inconvenience Credits" freely to compensate for the frustration.
Overall, 2 hours well spent... I get 13 months of AMC+, 12 months of Netflix Premium, save $240 I would have spent anyway, and a few bucks in my pocket.

1. Try going into Account Management when logged in as the Account Owner (the login that doesn't let the promotion go through).
2. Add an Account Manager and associate them with one of the remaining phone numbers on the account. If you already have an Account Manager set up like this (with # and email), just use that login in step 4.
3. Sign out of the Verizon site
4. Sign in as the Account Manager, not the Account Owner.
5. While signed in as the Account Manager, go to plusplay.verizon.com and try the steps to activate the offer you want.
6. Profit!
