For select Fidelity customers, Turbotax Premier is free (typically $69).

Go to your Accounts Summary page. If eligible, you will see a box titled "Get TurboTax Premier free" on the right side towards the bottom of the page with a link to TurboTax

Download version of TurboTax Premier is also available for $5.
Follow the Fidelity link to get to TurboTax website. At the top of the screen there is a drop down menu under 'Do it Yourself' >> "Doing your taxes with a CD/Download" and you should be able to see the download option for Premier.

Then I logged into Intuit. It showed up as $105, but I did the trick someone else suggested to add a random Intuit product to the cart, then delete it. Then I was able to check out for $5.41 (tax in TX).

i got so many messages about this. let me answer you all here once in for all. you need to go the beta view to see the offer.

I have the premier offer under the beta view, but when I click to the turbotax website it still gives me only $20 off, even though fidelity says premier for free w/ state. Called Fidelity, they know about the issue and said to wait until the new year as they are working on the problem.

Just called Fidelity's Private Client customer service#, and I was told the new criteria for getting the offer are: 1) Being a high # trader, meaning 120+ trades per year; or 2) having an assigned financial advisor/consultant to work with you. The amount of assets you have with fidelity does not seem to matter and this isn't published anywhere. I feel they are just finding a random excuse to avoid giving you the offer.

I have talked to Fidelity Rep....you have to be active trader and your account value has to be >250k in order to get this offer. lol this year, everyones portfolio is down so no luck this year.

The download version can be installed on 5 devices. Each install includes 5 federal e-files and the ability to download the software for 1 state. However, there is an additional fee to e-file the state. Sometimes I think Intuit makes it confusing on purpose.

I have a silly question: how do I know if I'm getting the discount on Intuit website? Once I log on, it takes me to the steps for filing with Premier 2022. Do I need to finish everything and then know the price?
