How to redeem for bill that's on autopay? It said $25 exceeded the limit and now it doesn't give me gift card option as payment

Go to app click bill, then find where it says Make an Additional Payment, then Pay With at selection Gift Card pay and you will see your balance drop you made the payment.

If you're having problems using the gift card for an account on autopay, dial #GIFT. Press 1, enter card # and pin, and follow prompts to pay with card.

How are people able to apply it to their bill? I've tried on the app and laptop for past 1 hour, I cannot get it to work. It keeps rejecting it stating the amount exceeds the maximum or sth. Is it because my bill was already paid thru auto pay a week ago?

Start over… I had to. Go to your bill. Select Payment Options then Add new payment method. From the drop down, select Add a gift card. After you've entered the gift card number and pin, click Check balance. In the Payment amount box, remove your balance and enter 25.00. Then click continue. Next you should see a page stating that a Split payment option is available. Click on No, thanks. The next page should confirm that you are applying only the gift card for now and your remaining balance will soon show $25 less. Hope this helps and that I didn't confuse anyone further.

I have $55 in Up gift cards. No matter what I do (split bill, etc) It refuses to use the card due to that "maximum" payment error. So I went shopping on Verizon's store. Almost everything I'd want is of stock, but found some JBL headphones for $24.99. Put two in the cart and entered (by hand) all 3 of my gift cards. When I tried to then apply it, it gave some other error and said to come back later. Verizon really sucks when they make it so hard to use these.
