How to redeem for bill that's on autopay? It said $25 exceeded the limit and now it doesn't give me gift card option as payment

After more than an hour with customer service, here's how you do it: 1) Got to autopay and pause it (it will reactivate for next month's bill); 2) go to Pay Bill, then add payment method (you should have an option for gift card), put in gift card info; 3) then pay with your gift card and when it asks you how much you want to pay, put $25 using the gift card, make that payment; 4) now make a payment for the remaining balance using your credit card (or however else you pay) and done!! Important: keep your autopay paused because you just made the payment for this month, but autopay will resume next month and you'll still get your autopay discount.

Could be ymmv or targeted, I can only speak for what I can see.

Expires 12/31/22, so use it this month. I immediately just used it to pay towards my regular monthly bill.
My bill just was auto taken out today :-( I tried to use it to see if it would just give me a credit but it didn't. I have to wait till my next bill comes out which I hope is before this expires.

Thanks! Needed a wall adapter for the new phone that does not come with now. Only had to pay tax, I would have missed this without checking here.

pay for all but $25 (so that is all that is left) then go in and use the gift card. that worked for me

You have to pay off all but $25 of your bill then use the gift card.

DO NOT do split payment. If you are on broswer, choose PAY ANOTHER AMOUNT then add new payment method by using the gift card. Choose NO when they prompt you to use split payment. That will take $25 off your bill, and that will not interfere with autopay.
