I've been collecting these. I bet in like 50 years these will be worth something as an interesting historical relic.
If there will be humans left to show these to.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank gl21133

If you've gotten these before you won't be able to, this isn't a new offer.

You probably need to check with the specific manufacturer of the test. They usually have a notice on their website if a test kit can still be used past the printed expiration date

You can't if you had previously requested for the test kits. I see the below message:

This address has reached the current limit for test orders.
Our records show that the address you entered has already requested the maximum number of free at-home tests allowed.

Actually, you can. I have requested and received them three times. After some period they seem to allow you to order more. So, it depends on when you last ordered if you can order more or not.

You can check with test manufacturers but FDA, who issues the Emergency Use Authorizations under which these tests are available, collates the information here;
Expiration Dating Extension [fda.gov]
and
At-Home OTC COVID-19 Diagnostic Tests [fda.gov]

Same here. I was just able to request them for like the 4th time. Maybe it does not identify properly that an order was already placed if you live in an apartment building?

They're still giving them away free at schools and libraries where I live in CA. The government ordered way too many of them and now that nobody cares about COVID any more they can't get rid of them fast enough to keep them from expiring.
