reviews say that it's loud. but pretty good deal in my opinion. if i didn't have the pulsar version, i'd give it a go.

how good is this brand ? never heard of it at all !

it say 54 db which isnt really loud ? so it it more than 54 ?

I bought this with the 20% off eBay coupon that they had earlier. It's not loud but it's not as quiet as my predator. The case was beat up but engine and components seems replaced/renewed

It's cheap for a reason. Air intake is at the bottom. Disastrous design.

Also bought at when it's $240, kinda lucky that the unit arrived in almost new condition. I'd agree it's louder than my previous Sportsman propane generator, but completely acceptable. Keep in mind as a refurb it doesn't come with funnel or oil.

That's what I thought. Just like pc case with PS on the bottom sitting on carpet. Just get a piece of 1/8 or 1/4" HDF board or whatever you have and set it on that.

If I didn't just buy a generator I'd be all over this maybe 2.

The air intake isn't ideal but it would be an easy fix.

Was $299.99, save $82. & a referb?? Find a real SD on a better inverter....just saying. I have the Sportsman (from an SD) and a Chinese one from NewEgg that never starts and leaks gas from every fitting. Wish I waited for a better deal on a quality brand. Remember, these usually sit for a while between uses so the warranty will prob be over when you find problem that arise. Also, look up how these need to be broken in, it's important.

How much clearance is there on the bottom? Considering grabbing one for my boat, so it should be sitting on fiberglass when it runs. Not too worried about dirt. But I also might be able to 3d print a shield if there is an inch or so clearance
